'We have been enjoying our 8-day stay. From cook to cleaners, personnel was excellent. We enjoyed the garden on top of the hotel. Eastgate shopping center close by! Management was not always perfect though. Some items on the menu were out of stock, and one morning the hotel had run out of gas! Yet the cooks did everything to come up with alternatives to make our breakfasts and dinners a pleasure. So, overall, we enjoyed our stay. Hotel recommended!'

'Mooi hotel met zeer vriendelijk personeel. Rondom het hotel is niet zo veel te beleven. Het is er wel lekker rustig.'

'Het hotel is prima. Alleen Johannesburg zelf is niet aan te raden. Door het hotel personeel werd afgeraden ons buiten het hotel te begeven. Al met al prima hotel maar blijf zo kort mogelijk in Johannesburg.'

'Great place! And well priced, & located near lots of stuff. Much old world charm, tho wonderfully renovated for absolute comfort. Great room (space, bed, bathroom). Cool art thruout the place. And great bar/restaurant, with nice breakfast included & good chef. **And be sure to check out, just up the street, the great jazz spot Jozi Gold! (Free Wed nite jam session & good wkend concerts). Thx, Bannister. l'll be back!'

'Place could easily be a 7 or 8 if staff put in effort. Room was advertised as having air-conditioning, a fan, shampoo and shower gel. It had none of those and at times got very hot. Each day I had to ask for more towels and on one occasion I had to ration toilet paper because they had none. Housekeeping is available but only when requested, and even then they did not restock towels or toilet roll. Staff were often not available so I could not exit the compound to get things, often having to...

'Friendly staff and clean rooms'

'Fijne ontvangst. Goede kamer. Keuken slecht bevoorraad.'

'I didn't stay at this property, my child made a reservation by mistake, I sent to the property the man at the front desk told me I could gets refund if I called Expedia. They reached out to the property no one responded so I am waiting for my refund'

'This place is nothing as advertised and just a disappointment all around. If you are simply looking for a bed to sleep in and nothing more then it is fine. But the rooms are old and look as though they are hardly taken care of. It felt as though I was at a distant family member's house who wasn't prepared for me to stay the night.'

'Its just an ohk place nothing more'

'Not good at all I paid when I arrived they said I paid to the wrong person and they cannot help me unless if a repay and the place was traumatised is a prostituted area is not for kids I was pissed '
