Original cottage 165 m² completely new located in the middle of the hill country

Welcome to this original 165 m² space in tropical colors.

We are located in the middle of the hills natural park in Picardy Wallonia, 70 km from Brussels, 30 km from Lille and 50 km from the Belgian coast.

The maximum capacity of the gîte is 7 people (adults or children) and 2 babies.
Two living rooms with two sofa beds, two double bedrooms, two kitchens, two terraces, a shower room, three toilets, a bathroom and a game room with a pool table and a garden are at your disposal.

You have access to the entire building. Bikes are available free of charge.
An access code will be communicated to you upon your arrival.

We welcome you to the gîte. For your information, we live in the house just behind. We are easily reachable if necessary. In order to make your stay as pleasant as possible and avoid misunderstandings here are some rules and recommendations to follow, in addition to those set out in the rental contract.
Several walks in the woods start right in front of the gîte.
The marked paths for bicycle tours are installed with knot points just at the start in front of the gîte.

Your arrival time must be specified no later than 2 days before arrival.
Unless otherwise agreed, arrival is possible from 4 p.m. and departure scheduled no later than noon. In the event of a setback, please notify us.

The deposit of 250 euros is payable upon arrival in cash (bank checks not accepted). It will be returned to you either at check-out or within ten days of your departure by bank transfer.
Organization of your welcome and your stay
•Arrival
The four keys and a remote control are given to you on your arrival and must be returned on your departure (5 euros per missing keys and 25 euros per missing remote controls will be deducted from the deposit).

The WIFI connection code is communicated to you upon request upon arrival.

•Stay
Be sure to respect the infrastructure and furniture. We ask you to close the roof windows in case of rain and when you are absent. Bed linen and bath sheets are to be brought along. However, if you do not have the opportunity to bring them, please let us know, we can lend you some. The beds have duvets and pillows and each mattress has a waterproof protective cover. For hygienic reasons, we ask you to place a sheet on the mattress, a duvet cover and pillowcases (which you will place above the present pillowcases).

For the final cleaning, the 70 euros must be paid on arrival.
The measures are 140 cm by 190 cm for the mattress sheet of the sofa bed at the bottom and 180 cm by 220 cm for its duvet cover. The measures are 140 cm by 180 cm for the sheet of the mattress of the living room chaise longue bed upstairs and 180 cm by 220 cm for its duvet cover. The measures are 180 cm by 200 cm for the sheets of the mattress and 220 cm by 240 cm for his duvet from the bed in the bedroom upstairs. The measures are 160 cm by 200 cm for the sheets of the mattress and 220 cm by 240 cm for his quilt from the bed in the bedroom on the left upstairs.

For reasons of hygiene and cleanliness, animals are not allowed in the gîte.

Out of respect for the occupants of the gîte, the building is non-smoking inside.

We ask you to always make sure to allow free passage for cars to be able to circulate at all hours in the aisle in front of the gîte. The motorcycle parking lot is located opposite the entrance to the gîte inside the property. Your car parking is located in front of the gîte along the street. When events allow, sometimes exceptionally on request and in agreement with the owner, your car parking can be inside the property. We decline all responsibility for any damage caused to vehicles parked in the parking lot.

TV and Internet connection and drinks are included in the rental if staying for a week or less. Consumption of electricity, pellets (heating and hot water) and water are not included for rentals of more than one week. The meters are read at the start and end of the stay. The gite is equipped with electric night and weekend meters at favorable rates. The thermostat and thermostatic valves on the radiators allow you to adjust the interior temperature. Even in the case of charges understood out of respect for our environment, be careful to avoid unnecessary consumption, especially during your absences.

We encourage you to sort your household waste. Sorted paper and cardboard, glass containers and PMC (plastic, metal and "tetrabic" containers) can be stored in the trash area in front of the gîte. Blue bags for PMC and black bags for unsorted waste are provided. There are four bins of 240 liters each. The blue corresponds to the PMC, the yellow for all comers, the gray for the papers and the green for the glass. In the case of longer rentals, the bags and waste disposal are the responsibility of the tenant. A collection schedule is displayed.

The accessible outdoor space within the property of the cottage will be presented to you upon arrival. For your safety, it is forbidden to circulate in the private part outside this zone without our agreement and our presence. Children can circulate only accompanied by an adult near the pond and agricultural machinery on the street. In the event of an accident, the "L’Archipel" gîte cannot be held responsible.
In case of problems during your stay, we can be reached
•Departure

The gîte must be returned in a state of cleanliness equivalent to that of arrival. In the event of payment for final cleaning, however, a ‘correct’ condition is required. Clean dishes and furniture must be returned to their original places.
At the agreed departure time, an inventory is made. We ask you to inform us of any breakage, damage or possible failure. We do not charge for breakage of any glass but would like to make the necessary replacements or repairs. The deposit will be returned to the tenant no later than 3 days after the end of the stay. Any significant damage, incorrect cleaning or loss of key (noted during the inventory or after departure) will be deducted.
Charges not included (stay longer than a week) are to be paid on the day of departure.
The general conditions set out above form an integral part of the rental contract for the gîte and cannot be changed.
