This was truly a home away from home. Great kitchen to cook Christmas dinner in. Comfortable bedrooms and cozy living room. I will definitely stay here again on my next vist. I highly recommend. The owners were very quick to answer any question I asked and even accommodated an early check in.

charming little house that was very comfortable for the 3 of us staying there. Extra large bathroom with laundry was a nice surprise even though we did not need laundry. Kitchen had good selection of what we needed and the AC and fans kept us comfortable in the hot weather. The outdoor area was a nice spot to be able to use as well. A good value, convenient to the university.

We had a great time, we were in town for our son’s baseball tournament and this place was just what we needed. It was 5 minutes from the ball field and very close to other stores and restaurants. The owners were quick to respond, and were accommodating. Would stay here again!

The home is located close to many amenities & has the essentials. Communications with the owners were pleasant & prompt. Unfortunately the home was not clean despite paying a cleaning fee & the fence around the yard is only tall on 3 sides.

Overall, the place wasn't bad and the location great. The areas we would rate it below Excellent are; Cleanliness needs to step up. Kitchen floor needs a good scrub and significant dust build up in the bathroom window sill and exhaust fan that we never located the switch.The bathroom window needed a prop given we couldn't use the fan.The soap dispenser in the shower was empty.The walls need some touch-up paint and the vegetation in front of the windows needs to be trimmed.There are no glasses suitable for drinking wine and two of the four coffee mugs had significant cracks.The bed was too soft.

I enjoyed the stay since it’s 3 mins from CWU. Two things about the place, when I arrive there and open the door, I smell stuffy immediately. I noticed that the temp was set to 80 degrees while the weather is 70 degrees outside. The AC is not working well since I was trying to get more cooling. I even had a stranger to help me out. But the place is nice and simple for me to stay and sleep and go.

College Move-In Weekend

I spent the weekend in Ellensburg getting my freshman moved in to CWU. She was busy all weekend on campus, but it was nice to have a little space to myself. The house is in a convenient, central location. I was walking distance to a few restaurants and downtown. I walked downtown to the farmers market on Saturday. The house was well-equipped, in a quiet neighborhood, and the bed was comfortable. I have favorited this house and I'm sure I'll be booking it again for visits!

Quiet Ellensburg abode

This property called "The School House" was perfect for my sister's and my stay. It's in a quiet neighborhood and walkable to downtown. We enjoyed walking to restaurants, stores and Central Washington University campus. Despite the warm weather, the house stayed comfortable with the air conditioning. The kitchen is well-appointed, we had everything needed for cooking. The beds were comfortable, bathroom large and even had washer/dryer. We liked sitting in the small patio in the mornings watching the birds taking their dust bath. We would definitely stay there again!

Perfect stay in a great location

A wonderfully decorated and well-appointed place in an excellent location. You can walk to downtown easily. Beds were super comfy and the hosts went above and beyond being gracious about a mishap that was entirely our fault. 100% recommend.

Sweet spot for a getaway, but close to everything!

My girlfriends and I stayed here for a weekend away, and it was everything we’d hoped for! The style of the home fit right in with the area, and with downtown so close, we walked everywhere—including a tour of campus! The house was well-stocked with kitchen supplies, bathroom toiletries, and even cozy blankets to curl up with on the couch for our hours of visiting. 😉Thank you for the stay—we would love to come again!
