'Loved every thing about the stay, the people were so attentive and kind and couldn’t do enough to assist. The bodega, the quality of the wine and the tapa .. so good. Breakfast was simple but excellent. The room was large and comfortable, my partner said it lacked a couple of aspects from a woman’s perspective, such as mirrors and lighting for makeup and there was no shelf for placing bathroom items. But these are small details and don’t detract from an overall excellent hotel.'

'The best night's stay we had on our entire journey through Spain. The hotel itself is very charming, beautifully renovated and updated while maintaining its 17th century charm. Javier and Rosemary were extremely accommodating - we arrived late, but they greeted us, and we were given a private viewing of the bodega/cellar in he morning. It was such a treat to see this small-scale winemaking operation. Breakfast was delicious. We plan to come back!'
'Voor de tweede keer in dit hotel. Zeer ruime kamer. Uitgebreid ontbijt buffet. Werd steeds goed aangevuld. Fijn zwembad met voldoende zonnebedjes. Er werd eindelijk eens op gelet dat men niet het bedje bezet hield dmv handdoekje leggen. Op loopafstand van het mooie oude centrum wat te bereiken is met een lift. Erg fijn verblijf gehad in het fantastisch mooie Rioja-gebied. '
'This property is run by a wonderful woman and her family. It is in a quiet village in the Rioja Alavesa close to other towns and villages in a beautiful setting. The property is a "casa rural" which comes close to a B&B with amazing breakfast for a very reasonable price. The terrace opens to a breathtaking view of the vineyards and mountains. It is very clean, comfortable and recently renovated. I would certainly return and also recommend. Thanks, Amaia y familia!'
