'A neat affordable welcoming hotel in a quiet neighbourhood on the island of Zamalek. Moving around requires taxis while in Downtown or Dokki one might be closer to a metro. 'All staff are extremely friendly and service minded - worthy of a 5-star accomodation. The rooms are a bit tired, although comfortable. Bathroom small - if you are over 1,80 you will not be able to stand in the bathtub to take a shower. Hotel is beautifully located and the gardens are an absolute pleasure to spend some warm evenings enjoying a drink or waterpipe. '

'This is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in Cairo. The staff ia incredibly friendly and helpful, the rooms are big, nice and clean. The breakfast was great. 'We loved staying at this hotel. In case you don't know, this used to be a house for a famous Egyptian singer (Om Kolthoom) from the 60s and got converted into a hotel. So, the whole hotel is themed around this singer (photos, decor, signage on doors, etc.). I loved that because I love this singer. 'We had a very good 3 nights at this hotel. Room was spacious comfortable and clean. Staff were helpful. Good breakfast and room service. Location of hotel was perfect for us as there are lots of restaurants and cafes with plenty shops within walking distance. Safe area and no one hassling you to buy things. 'Excellent bang for your buck! The rooms were very clean. The breakfast was delicious. The café upstairs had a great selection of drinks and shisha. More importantly, the staff was extremely hospitable! Shot out to Mahmoud who regularly sat with my family and I in the lobby to have tea and give us great recommendations around Cairo. 'De ligging van de accommodatie is echt perfect!! Vlak bij het Egyptisch museum. Ontbijt was lekker en gemaakt van de lokale specialiteiten, vooral de Arnabet is een aanrader. Nette shuttle service van en naar het vliegveld.'

'Ik ging naar Cairo om het Egyptisch Museum te bezoeken en om daar te mogen fotograferen. Gezien de veiligheidssituatie in Egypte zocht ik een hotel dat zeer dicht bij het museum lag. Daarom kwam alleen dit hotel in aanmerking. Het hotel, dat vroeger Nile Hilton heette, is na een grondige 8 jaar durende verbouwing omgedoopt tot het Nile Ritz-Carlton Hotel. Ik ben uitermate tevreden over het hotel. Als ik een cijfer zou moeten geven zou dat een 9 zijn.'

"We recently returned from a trip to Egypt, and during our stay in Cairo, we chose the Zamalek Hilton. From start to finish, our experience exceeded all expectations. Situated in a peaceful area on Zamalek Island with views of the Nile, the hotel’s location couldn’t be better for anyone looking for a calm retreat within Cairo. Our arrival was seamless—we checked in around 8 p.m., and the process was flawless. To our surprise, we were informed of an upgrade, which we assumed was simply to a higher floor. Instead, we were given a massive suite on the 23rd floor, complete with three spacious bedrooms and balconies offering stunning views of the Nile. The suite was immaculately clean, remarkably quiet, and provided a restful atmosphere after a day of sightseeing. Housekeeping was attentive, providing fresh bottled water daily and keeping the space spotless. The Hilton Zamalek also offers delightful restaurants where we enjoyed meals accompanied by gracious, attentive service. The pool area was another highlight, beautifully positioned with views of the Nile, adding a relaxing spot to unwind. What truly set the Zamalek Hilton apart for us was the personal touch in every detail. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay special, making it more than just a hotel visit but a truly memorable experience. "
