The Runnymede is a very good hotel. Location adjacent to the Thames. Great gym included. Breakfast and restaurant also fine. Rooms are good, my bathroom was rather small.

gezellig hotel om een paar dagen uit te rusten. Morgend en middag lunchbuffet met overvloedige keuze en aangenaam restaurant om gezellig te babbelen met kennissen. 's Winters goed warm in de lobby om the te drinken et in de zomer aangenaam oord om buiten op het terras te drinken of langs de Thames oevers te wandelen.

What a great spot. Short drive from the airport and right in the river with an amazing walkway. Adults only so quit a few business meetings happening in the eclectic lobby, lots of seating from regular tables to sofas and chairs. Very clean and felt safe. I booked this while I was coming from the US not knowing what to expect and it was perfect. They are doing some remodeling so I assume it will be even better. Front desk was exceptional as well. Very helpful

We have stayed on numerous times at the hotel and always been very pleased with everything, however this time firstly we weren't informed of the building work, even though the receptionist had rung us a few days prior to our stay, and spoke to myself, but never mentioned it, and to have work men right outside the bedroom window, banging and hammering wasn't pleasant. Then we did get a house keeper barge into the room without knocking, then she realised it was the wrong room entirely. The ladies cleaning the rooms were lovely. Breakfast was nice even though we did have to ask a couple of times for a pot of tea? We did highlight, our unfortunate let down of our stay, to the receptionist, who didn't seem to be bothered at all. Finally we asked for an invoice, but the printer wasn't working and was assured they would send it over by email?? but still awaiting for its arrival!!.... Decent hotel that of course is going through some transformation at the moment. The room is on the small side. I stayed here for work and there isn’t even a desk and chair to do work from so I had to work from the bed which was not great.

Recent refurbishment means stylish rooms and classy public areas. Food and service represent excellent value for money too. Improvements continue to the outside areas adjacent to the river and will no doubt further enhance the experience, but just a slight eyesore for now. There was no coffee in the room, which was a minor inconvenience, but easily rectified.

Avoid until all renovations have been completed
After coming here for so many years on a regular basis, this is going to be my last time was refunded £50 of the money but really I should’ve had a full refund the whole place should not actually be open at all at the moment with all the building work going on, everything is limited to a minimum Breakfast items are minimal, smash windows no parking everywhere flooded banging had no sleep because of the scaffolding with the scaffolding sheets blowing in the wind. Avoid until all renovations have been carried out. And this is nothing like how the Runnymede hotel was run before. Please remember that the food is all different too.

It was amazing had breakfast which was great and catered for the vegans without making a fuss or waiting for it. The staff service was excellent, the location is amazing calming which is what I needed to get away from the busy lifestyle. Most importantly it’s not far for south London so it didn’t take long to get there or to come home, but enjoyed that country side feeling abs greenery. Enjoyed bring near the river, will come back. The beds were very comfortable, bedding was good quality. The spa was perfect, could do with some calming music when relaxing on the beds.
