« Lovely stay here. The room was fantastic, staff helpful and breakfast was amazing. The chauffeur ride into Cartmel was also a great touch. We shall return! »

« I rarely write reviews about holiday stays but had to do so for our three night stay at Grange Manor. The room was fabulous-luxurious,spotless and so comfortable and the extra finishing touches made it a home from home. Breakfast served every morning in the room was a delight. No noisy dining room nor rush to have table cleared away. All was at our pace which was what we wanted. A peaceful haven in a beautiful setting with the most friendly and helpful staff made this break first class. We...

« Fantastic room what a real gem of a place, the room over exceeded my expectation & the welcome breakfast hamper was.a nice little touch and very appreciated. I’ve stayed in some places around this area and this is now my firm favourite and will definitely be returning in the near future Thanks for a wonderful stay »

« The property has real presence and looks stunning. Its decor is in keeping with the property and looks a bit worn but makes it feel loved. Breakfast was good but we had to wait both days for the food to be topped up as there’s only one waiter trying to do everything. The room was large and bed was comfy. The bathroom was not good no water pressure so water came out very slowly and not very hot. Shower unit was very noisy and no heating for such a big bathroom apart from a towel rail so it was...

« The hotel is beautiful from the outside and located in such a picturesque area but the room we got was a disappointment. Located on the first floor and tucked in a corner, it did not match the pictures on the site and looked rather old (except for the bathroom), with an uncomfortably slumping mattress. The view was on some sort of roof/installation that nearly blocked all light. I will add that other rooms, which I saw the next morning while housekeeping was cleaning, looked much better. I'm...

« Clean and comfortable room, very friendly staff and the breakfast was outstanding. Excellent value for money »

« It was a lovely location, a great place for a weekend getaway for couples. »

« Les hôtes étaient très accueillants. Le petit dej très bien aussi. C'est un B&B familiale très agréable. Le dimanche de Pâques mes 2 filles ont eut un gros oeuf en chocolat, c'est très gentil. »

« Lovely position and inside rooms were good. The let downs were the outside areas entering the property the steps were grubby and dirty so a bit offputting, also the outside patio area was unusable due to it being overgrown and dirty. INSIDE the only fault was lack of tv information and no visable welcome book in veiw. We found the book just by chance a black book on a black stool in the corner of the kitchen.put it in full veiw »
