Great little cove
Overall: I would definitely recommend. Itâs a great quiet spot on the lake perfect for kids (very shallow). We caught so many fish and all the wildlife/birds were amazing to watch. The cabin was super cute and we had a great week! Some things to note:1) Bedrooms smallish especially when using trundle/hide-away beds.2) Air conditioning only in bedrooms so must keep doors open and use fans to help cool living/kitchen areas.3) Seated eating area is limited. 4-5 people can be seated at the kitchen bar. Maybe 2-3 others can sit at a very small table in the screened-in-porch but if you want to eat together as a family, youâre either standing in the kitchen or using your lap on the couch.4) Very steep drive coming down to the cove/cabin. It shouldnât be a problem for most vehicles but I think itâs important to note.5) To access the cove, you must cross the street. It isnât busy at all but I was shocked when some cars did pass through because I just didnât realize there were more homes past the cabin.6) Itâs an older home with âsensitiveâ pipes, so even toilet paper goes into the trash. They have cute signage and trash cans next to the toilets to remind you. Itâs not a big deal but thought it should be noted.7) Laundry is under the porch area which can get pretty dark at night and hard to navigate so bring a flashlight.
