'This was one of the best hotels that I have stayed in in a long time. Check in was easy. the desk clerk was friendly. I forgot my toothbrush and she was amazing and gave me a tooth brush, mini tooth paste and mouthwash that was complimentary. We missed the hot cookies that they make in the evening. 'The person on duty at check in on 08/07 at circa 9pm was super helpful and efficient. We were only staying as a result of late arrival in Spokane due to flight delays. I forget his full name, it was something first name and last name Marchand but he made the process a good experience for a tired couple. 'Interesting place to stay. Hotel staff was friendly. Hotel is old and is lacking in maintenance (worst bathroom state we have seen so far during our trips). But its still good value for money. The traintracks behind the Motel and (outside) noise was concerning at first (we knew about this from reading other reviews before we booked), but we had no issue with it at all during the night, we all slept well. Very close to various gas stations, restaurants and grocery stores.'

"Nice hotel. Comfortable bed and good rooms. For this price point I would expect breakfast to be included but instead there are hidden costs like a parking fee and an 'Amenity Fee'. The latter is really hidden and compulsory. For a whopping $20/day one gets things that should be included for free, like a bottle of water and coffee in the room. Also access to the swimming pool and wellness are included but if you're not going to use them the hotel still expects you to pay for it. Very unfair and imho just a way to make more money off its customers. Too bad as it's a nice hotel near Riverfront park and the center of the city but I will not be staying there anymore until they get rid of this crazy 'Amenity Fee'! "
