'This was a real last minute booking, but what a winner. The guest house was wonderful. The room was very comfortable (didn't want get out of the bed). Such an individual look to each room. Made a nice change from the usual Travelodge/Premier Inn ordinariness. Did Didn't try the breakfast. Will rectify that next time. Very impressed. Highly recommend. '

'I had such a wonderful experience. The room was very nicely decorated and top of the line. Everything was beautiful, clean, lots of amenities. I had a small accident and broke my foot, the hosts were so helpful and really went out of their way. Everything I needed was there and it was easily accessible to the city center. I cant wait to return. Top boutique hotel I've ever stayed at. I can't say enough wonderful things about this place. I'm so glad I booked here! '

'If you want a relaxed break this is a great hotel to book, just come back from a weekend away. What a joy to stay somewhere with such amazing staff. Room was lovely very clean comfy bed. Great breakfast we also dined in the restaurant and bar which was really nice. Had a three hour spa to finish off our stay. Will definitely be back.'

'Great hotel in nice manor. The house itself is very well preserved notwithstanding the modern extensions and the modernisation of the interior. Great space rooms and good facilities like a pleasant swinging pool. We did eat in York before our arrival but the restaurant seems good, the breakfast there was excellent. Good place to stay when visiting York.'
