« A friendly hotel with all the services needed including parking. Good breakfast. It is handily situated for walking into York. Some might find the absence of a lift to be a problem but there are several 'lodges' at ground level. »
« You had a good variety of food for breakfast. My bed was comfy but my sons bed was abit hard. The cleanliness of the hotel and the friendliness of the staff made up for that. »

« Son booked his room as he's staff from another Marriott, his Superior room was clean and everything was as expected. Just one small minor issue a couple of loose boards on the balcony - didnt distract the view of the Racecourse.
My daughter & i got a free unexpected upgrade to a family room which was huge for just the two of us.
Breakfast was fitting for a Marriot, son won't comment as he's a chef, service and staff were excellent.
The only thing i didnt like and the Marriott cant do too much...
« Recently renovated accommodation first class facilities. On a main road but limited noise with double glazing. Parking overnight free on car park opposite

« Simple furnishings but a very uncomfortable mattress lumpy and bits sticking up so not easy to find a comfortable position to sleep. Relieved I was on my own. »
« Perfect spot to visit York and surroundings. Place is useful. Parking plenty of EV pods. A shopping centre close to the hotel allows all food breaks. »

« Stayed on a sunday night we had an evening meal witch was very good.The staff were friendly and the room was excellent and very clean .Breakfast was freshly cooked with plenty of choice we would stay again.
