We had a glitch getting into the house that was responded to instantaneously. Greatly appreciated! The host was exceptional, the place very clean and well stocked, and any questions were answered very quickly and satisfactorily. Thank you!

We were close to our favorite fishing spot: Roaring River and familiar drive to Branson. Rooms were clean and very comfortable living and kitchen.

Second year staying here: our families love it. This said, last year we had access to beds in basement and laundry facilities. When the posted beds were 2 king beds and 4 bunk twins for 8 adults, we assumed that meant the basement beds were available for adults, and the twins were for kids. These twin bunks jiggle when you roll over and no grown adult can sit up without hitting your head on the bunk above. My 6 foot tall nephew ended up sleeping on the floor, and the other adults in the room had to sleep on the jiggly beds with no headroom. My adult daughter ended up sleeping on the couch. Not having laundry facilities meant having to air dry sweaty clothes and used towels and dish cloths. The sleeping arrangements should be amended to 4 adults who will share 2 king beds, and 4 children who will sleep in 2 bunk beds.

We had an issue with another reservation and booked this last minute due to a cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances from another house. The property has plenty of room to spread out and had two covered areas where we were able to store our boats at night. Our 4 kids (ages 7-13) were also able to walk to the water (10 min walk) and swim at night. The owner was very accommodating to our travel plans and the house was reasonably stocked for our stay. This house is also a few hundred yards from Eagle Rock Marina and made it easy to put our boats in and out each day. The only downside was that it was very evident animals had been there from the condition of the carpet. I am sure this was an oversight as the house is currently on the market and I imagine the owner would not normally have 10 obvious pee stains within sight from the front door. However, the rest of the furniture/beds/etc were very clean. After a carpet cleaning, I would stay here again!

Lovely, comfy home with so much space! Very clean, comfy beds, plenty of bathrooms with nice towels and hot water. Enjoyed the extras like board games, puzzles, and ping pong table, back porch with lake view. Excellent location for daily trips to Eureka Springs, Promised Land Zoo, Roaring River, Dogwood Canyon, Silver Dollar City, and Branson - and of course sits on Table Rock Lake with swimming and boat launch a skip away (hosts even provide beach towels!). Groceries not too far away, some great cafes in area including Depot Diner in Golden.

Wonderful!

This home was absolutely perfect for our family! There is tons of space and sleeping areas. We loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom. Everything was super clean! The host was quick to respond to messages and check in was a breeze. Eureka Springs is a short drive away. We hope to return!

Great layout and location to Marina

This home worked out well for us. Loved the number of bathrooms. Helps so much when coming in off the lake. The only problem we had was the really dirty, grease filled outdoor grill. And maybe even the neighbor that kept walking up to front porch dropping off his trash in the trash barrel. It was so full we had to take trash with us.

A nice, mostly private escape

Overall, the trip was great. The location of the house in Eagle Rock and the surrounding nature was the exact reason we choose this house, along with its private setting. We were not aware, however, of another house or property being built practically in the backyard, with workers occasionally stopping by to work on it (including with a bulldozer at one point), but overall it didn’t affect the trip too much. Other issues we encountered were: a dead automatic door lock which needed battery replacement while we were there in order to lock the door when we left the property, a dirty grill which we had to buy supplies to clean ourselves, and a hot tub that would not heat up. While these issues definitely weren’t ideal, quick and easy communication with the host solved our door problems, and while the others were a bummer we were still able to enjoy the gorgeous area and our trip as a whole.

Renter Beware!

I rented this house specifically for the amount of beds they offered. There were 6 beds upstairs and 3 beds downstairs in the basement. It seemed perfect. It was close to town and right on the lake. We were about 1 hour away from Eureka Springs when we received a text from the owner telling us there was a problem with the gutter system a couple days prior and it caused water to get into the basement as well as a "smell". The owner stated they put a humidifier and a fan in the basement and it's helping. Upon arrival, the house smelt like complete cat urine. We went down to the basement and the basement was even worse. The carpet was drenched with stains all over it. The humidifier and fan in question were in the very back not doing much at all. There was standing water in a hole as well as exposed wiring. I did not feel comfortable allowing anyone to sleep down there due to the potential health risks from who knows how many leaks. Thankfully we were able to all make sleeping upstairs work but it was not comfortable for quite a few people. I reached out to get some sort of partial reimbursement since we were unable to use half of the living space and weren't made aware until the day of which caused us to not be able to find anywhere else to go, and got declined. Bottom line is if you rent this house for the number of beds, beware of the basement having potential health risks for anyone that sleeps down there from who knows how many floods they've had.
