The water in the Lagoon is sometimes salty because, during strong winds, sea water retreats towards the lagoon instead of going deep into the sea. Therefore, in the town we can catch saltwater and freshwater fish species.

One kilometer from Dziwnówek, in Wrzosowo, there is the Baltic Dinosaur Park. It is an ideal place for the whole family, focused on active outdoor recreation.
