The location was great for us (closer to Silverton than Durango), and the cabin was outfitted with most everything you’d hope to have at a VRBO. We enjoyed the deck and hot tub, kitchen with plenty of seating, and hiking in the area. Highly recommend!'

'My husband and I stayed with our 2 young kids for 6 nights over spring break. The location is great. The condo was very clean with beautiful views. My kids loved the 2 heated pools and the hot tub. Purgatory had the most friendly and helpful staff we have ever visited.'

'The lodge is nicely designed to accommodate a few families. For instance, we had a small family reunion consisting of two families of five and the grandparents. Not only is their ample space, but the location is also such that children can safely play outdoors. What certainly had us pleased is the fact that the owners do have “rules.” For example, shoes are not permitted in the home, which is culturally what we prefer.
