The Stonehouse Studio is located in an historic stone building a half block off of Main Avenue in downtown Durango. You can walk to all the shops, restaurants, galleries and bars in minutes from this centrally located apartment. A king size bed, clawfoot tub and shower, and well equipped kitchen provide you with the comforts and conveniences of home. Close to mountain biking, hiking, the river and the Durango Silverton Narrow gauge railway. This property puts you close to everything Durango has to offer. Can I live here???

Amazing property! Great location downtown. We loved hearing the train and seeing it from a few locations. The kitchen was more than adequately supplied for those that like to cook. Great art work and books. BYO TV. Can’t wait to go back!

George has created such a cozy and inviting space. It is tucked away and private with a lovely outside space to enjoy, but it is still close to all of the shops and restaurants in downtown. The grocery store and Walgreens are also an easy walk. There is so much to enjoy in Durango. This studio is such a great retreat. I look forward to coming back!

We had a lovely stay at this cozy, art-filled studio. It was a convenient spot for downtown restaurants, galleries and the Durango to Silverton railway. And it gave us a quiet space to decompress after sightseeing.

Property was amazing. Communication with George was amazing. Needed some assistance during check in and he was very responsive. Fantastic location. Walked everywhere in town. Very charming studio apartment. Appreciated the reserved parking spot (best for smaller vehicles). Would def. stay here again.

Modern meets historic

This was such a great place to stay in Durango! The location is just a block up from the appealing downtown area. Very convenient to walk to breakfast or dinner or shopping - you name it! We loved the apartment which is in a very historic building- the interior space is cleverly designed. It’s a nice mix of modern and historic, and done so very artistically. Lots of great artwork adorns the space- Very clean. There is nice outside courtyard to enjoy sunshine. Very quiet. I would definitely stay here again!

Awesome and totally cozy spot

Love the location and the off street parking. It was so nice and cozy, and the location is stellar. The house was spotlessly clean and all of the little extras were there. We’ll absolutely stay here again. This is our new favorite in Durango. We go down there every couple of months and we’re looking forward to a repeat!

This cozy location is the perfect spot - downtown, restaurants, shopping, park and more are all just a short walk away. The property manager is very friendly, responsive and always willing to help even if it's just recommending local sites to see.

Perfect in town studio

I loved this place the minute I opened the gate to the property. There was a beautiful patio with chairs, fire pit, plants where I spent a lot of time hanging out. The studio was exactly as portrayed. It was perfectly decorated and had everything I needed. And I loved opening the skylight above the bed at night! Awesome for 1-2 people. Location was right on the edge of Main Street. I walked everywhere at night. I will always try to stay here when I come alone.

Cute getaway

Great visit with family

Our stay at the Stonehouse was fantastic! Comfy bed, enough space to move around, able to prep our own food, good shower, great location and a large garden with lounge furniture as well as a deck with grill made for great socializing space. Location made grocery shopping, going out to eat and exploring all the downtown had to offer very accessible. Had a great time and plan to return! J&J, Boston

Perfect Downtown Rental

Steps away from downtown yet quiet with a beautiful outdoor deck and garden are to relax in. Kitchen equipped with everything you need. Comfortable bed and pillows. Clean and well lit. Would definitely stay here again if ever in the area.
