'The place was very clean. The staff was very friendly. The beds and the pillows aren't very comfortable. Room was clean and well maintained. The free continental breakfast was ok at best but again it was free so can't complain too much about it.'

'To start off I would like to say I have stayed at a lot of hotels but the front desk staff at this hotel was so incredibly rude to its guests. The way they talked to people who asked questions was something I had never heard from front desk staff before.
The hotel may have been a smoking hotel at one point as the remnants of old smoke remained in the rooms and the lobby area. The front desk staff smoked (as well as other guests) just outside the door which probably didn’t help.

'I absolutely enjoyed my stay. I was in town for the draft and will definitely book again. This was my first time staying at the property. My husband and i have been talking about this hotel and room since we stepped foot inside. Oh, showers are amazing. Bonus points for no shower curtain and having a walk in shower!'

'Rooms and property was clean. Staff was helpful. No coffee pots or dishes in the rooms even though there is a full size fridge and cooktop ICE machine was broken had to go to hotel next door for ice. Over all not a bad experience.'

'A hidden gem. This was a former Hampton Inn but it was just as good as any big name hotel. Rooms were clean and everything was working. Comfortable beds and lots of parking. Excellent gym.'

'My 1st room was very dirty. I was given another room that was clean. The management worked with Expedia to give me a credit which restored my faith in both companies. I go to Bridgeville twice a year. I have stayed at both hotels there. The Hampton Inn is my favorite hotel. I will be staying there in the fall.'

'TV channel selection is pathetic, it’s 2026 we should be able to select a channel without scrolling 1 by 1 through the whole list. The channel variety is also terrible, hardly any sports channels and unable to watch playoff hockey.'

'Self check in was easier than I expected. It was just annoying that I had to access my email every time we needed to unlock our room door. It was in a good location, close to many restaurants, but not within walking distance to many of the sights. There was no onsite parking, but we found a parking garage about a five minute walk away for $20 a day. The room was comfortable and clean, but note the bed is VERY firm, so if you’re a side sleeper, it’s not the most comfortable.
