Hele fijne tijd gehad. Fijne kamer met prachtig uitzicht. Personeel was erg vriendelijk. Ontbijt was uitgebreid en lekker. Alle overige maaltijden en drankjes erg aan de prijs, maar dat bij alle hotels wel in Dubai.

Hotel ligt op een goede plek op de palm. Baliemedewerkers zijn zeer vriendelijk, maar het overige personeel doet zijn werk niet goed. Kamers worden niet goed schoongemaakt, vieze lakens, stofzuigen niet in de kamer, zwembaden zijn VIES! Vieze water, vuile ligbedden bij de zwembad. Bestel je een drankje bij de zwembad? Houd dan rekening mee dat je 20-30 min moet wachten. Ze “vergeten” ook vaak je wisselgeld terug te brengen. Enorme lange wachtrijen voor het ontbijt. Je betaalt hier veels te veel voor wat je ervoor terug krijgt. Voor mij geen fairmont meer.

Alles wat top, enkel ontbijt is wel duur 35€ per persoon, daarom zijn we wel buiten gaan ontbijten. In het restaurantje van de high tea kan je wel koffie en koffiekoek verkrijgen tegen normaal tarief, voor ons meer dan genoeg op sommige dagen.

very safe and family friendly hotel. staff and service is excellent! the buffet breakfast is huge with hundreds of options definitely worth it. The only reason the hotel doesn't deserve 5 stars is because they sell day passes to non hotel residents so on a weekend we had to wake up at 7 am to secure sunbeds. There are too many guests for sunbeds/ pool space also. I expect this fight for sunbeds at a budget hotel in benidorm but not from the fairmont in dubai.

Last time me for me there. 0/10 from A to Z. Dirty, you have a room in front of a 6 ways road. Cannot sleep during 6 nights. Loyal customers, the first thing they ask you during the check in is “we are happy to welcome you for the first time”. Terrible. They do not take into account your request when you book: I asked for two queen beds and they gave me a king one. Negotiated during 30 min after a 7h flight. They gave me the worse one because I have checked in at 3am… I stop here, too much example like that. No words can describe how terrible it is

Wir hatten uns auf einen erholsamen Urlaub mit Frühstück und Abendessen gefreut, wie es in der Buchungsbestätigung angegeben war. Jedoch stellten wir bei unserer Ankunft fest, dass nur das Zimmer inklusive war. Das Frühstück und Abendessen wurden separat berechnet, zu einem Gesamtpreis von 2.240 AED. Zusätzlich zahlten wir für den ersten Tag 250 AED für das Frühstück, da es nicht im ursprünglichen Arrangement enthalten war. Dies stellte eine erhebliche Abweichung von der Buchungsvereinbarung dar und führte zu einer unerwarteten finanziellen Belastung. Darüber hinaus war der Service im Hotel enttäuschend. Einige Mitarbeiter, insbesondere Kellner, zeigten eine mangelnde Professionalität und Freundlichkeit. Trotz dieser Unannehmlichkeiten muss ich jedoch betonen, dass die Qualität des Essens zufriedenstellend war. Des Weiteren erhielten wir unser Zimmer erst um 15 Uhr, obwohl wir bereits um 8 Uhr morgens im Hotel ankamen. Diese Verzögerung beeinträchtigte unsere Pläne für den Tag erheblich. Ein weiterer Punkt, den ich ansprechen möchte, sind die Preise für Getränke im Hotel, die wir als übermäßig teuer empfanden. Insgesamt war unser Aufenthalt im Hotel von gemischter Qualität. Während das Essen und die Zimmer angemessen waren, wurden unsere Erwartungen in Bezug auf den Service und die zusätzlichen Kosten nicht erfüllt.

Unfortunately, the hotel does not provide any drinks whatsover [not even tap water] at lunch or dinner, despite being on a half-board basis. You are also forbidden from bringing your own drink to lunch or dinner, even water from your room, which is supplied by the hotel. This is clearly to extort more money from guests and was quite bizzare and unwelcome to not even be allowed tap water. The large carpet/mat under the beds in the room was stained, and caused my wife's allergies to flare. There were a few stains on other room furnishings, a couple of cracks in the bathroom sink, one of the bathrobes and 2 towels had frayed. There were holes in one of the pillow cases. The room and corridor smelled nice. This was supposedly an upgraded room on the 9th floor [fairmont gold]. I was not impressed. The staff were friendly and approachable. The breakfast was average, with a decent variety of food, but the same each day with very minor changes such as beef instead of chicken sausages one day vs the other, or raspberry crossaint one day and pistachio the next. There were tiny flies/gnats around the pastries, and mosquitoes in the breakfast area, as well as 4 mosquitoes in my room. I killed a cockroach which was under the table in the outdoor seating at the seagrill restaurant. The beach was disappointing. The 'sand' was actually just millions of tiny/crushed sea shells. It is impossible to make anything with a bucket and spade on the beach. The pools and kids area were nice. 6/10

The main issue we had was that the service was incredibly slow. The food was amazing but it took over 30 mins to receive what you ask. If you want a spoon you’d wait a very long time. The bedsheets had a really weird smell and that was nice. But otherwise the room was clean. The towel service was a nightmare. We had to wait hours almost every day to get a towel. There’s not enough seats for the pool or beach and even though you’re not allowed to pre book the seats. People lay their towels and book to save seats. It was poorly managed. Overall the stay was great but service quality was not what it was supposed to be. We didn’t receive the service you pay for when staying at the Fairmont. Check-in was incredibly slow. Almost an hour until we were able to talk to someone and the room was not ready even through we arrived just a little after 3pm which was when the room was supposed to be ready.
