Not as bad of a tourist trap as I expected
Yes, it's one of the few hotels on mont saint michel and obviously you are paying extra for that location. I booked this room so I could stay on the island in the evening and early morning without the crowds, which worked great. I did not expect much else since the whole place is full of crappy souvenir ...
