'Only one elevator in the building was working. I was initially charged for parking, but that was never mentioned at check-in. I was able to get that reversed (days later) when I communicated that I did not utilize their parking as my son lives in the apartments next door. This hotel has gone down hill in the last few years and does not represent the Hilton standards or the rates that they are charging.'

'This is literally my second home when I visit Tuscaloosa. It's always nice, quiet, clean, and welcoming. The Staff is always amazing from the late night shift workers to the day shift workers. The breakfast is nice, warm, and hot. 'Front desk staff need some customer service training. When I approached the desk on Sunday night neither of the two young females greeted me. I had to ask if I could check in. Then the only thing spoken to me was to ask for my cc for incidentals and that I must pay a parking fee. There was no “thank you” or hope you have a great stay or let us know if you need anything…..They set the tone for my stay.
This place is fine if you are doing something connected with the university but not if you are...

'Had to extend my stay to six nights due to flights being canceled twice. Staff at the front desk were amazing and so helpful! Bar and restaurant in the lobby has great food and drinks, and the best staff! Room was clean and spacious King bed was very comfortable. Housekeeping is quick to respond to any needs .My only suggestion is to change out the pillows from feathers to something that actually has a little bit of support.
