'I travel a LOT, but rarely am I compelled to write a review. This hotel is one of those rarities. It is truly a lovely hotel. Well decorated, clean, thoughtfully laid out and appointed, great bar, live music on Thursday nights. Again, all terrific but what made this hotel rise to the level of this review was the staff. Every single person we encountered—the people at the front desk, the valet service guys, the bartender and wait staff, and the maids—were fabulous. Friendly, helpful,...

'Had the worst experience checking in'

'Room was clean and staff was friendly. The main issue is the location: it’s quite close to downtown Colorado Springs (10-mins walk), but the surroundings are very sus… lots of weird people walking around. I felt completely fine, but my 18-yo daughter didn’t feel very safe.'

'This is our second year staying here. I will start by saying we had no issues our first year, hence why we came back this year. This year after paying through Expedia to reserve the room, I was presented with a bill that had taxes totaling 3x the rate of the room when I checked in. The desk clerk said that wasn’t correct but she couldn’t fix it and my card was charged again through Expedia. (So far that has not been the case and of course I will dispute it).

'Clean hotel, great breakfast, convenient location.'

'the bed and pillow was horrible the AC loud as hell, and when it did not work you heard everything outside. breakfast was so so - not even scrambled eggs'

'It was a great location'

'John at the front desk was very attentive. The women at the Bistro however was not. She never acknowledged us when we walked up to the counter. We noticed she was looking up a drink recipe so we gave her grace as we could tell she was new, but when she walked away to go talk to John at the front desk we decided the coffee we wanted wasn’t worth it. Other then that or stay was great.'

'Hotel bien situé mais vieillot. Petit dejeuner plus que basique '
