Welcome to Little Stuga

Little Stuga is tucked away in a private cul-de-sac surrounded by lush gardens. A short distance away from downtown and the beach!

INSIDE THE HOME
This 2 bedroom 1 1/2 bath sleeps 4. You can unwind in the screened-in porch or step outside where you ll find plenty of outdoor living space that includes an outdoor shower. Take advantage of the gas grill for an at-home barbecue, and enjoy a summer evening sitting around the fire pit and roasting marshmallows.

Absolutely loved our stay! This cottage is a special place. The outdoor areas are so peaceful and just as pictured. We loved the screened in front porch and enjoyed many family meals there. The amenities are phenomenal, short of beach towels and toothpaste, everything you need is here. In fact, we overpacked on many items because we didn’t expect how well stocked it would be. The hammock and beach gear were wonderful surprises! Our only complaint is not for the cottage itself but for the management company. The cleaning service needs to be more thorough. There were spider webs/dead insects and dust bunnies galore on the floors of closets. Most upsettingly, a shelled peanut half was on the floor of the front porch when we checked in. Our daughter has a life threatening peanut allergy so this caused some anxiety until we cleaned the porch area ourselves.Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Great place to stay, we loved it. When I saw the picture I knew it was me. Everything was perfect, no issues. Plenty of outdoor chairs to sit in and enjoy the landscaping.Good location for us. Went to Douglas beach, less crowds and very clean. Thanks for a great stay!

Hidden Gem

This was by far one of our top favorite properties to stay while in the Douglas/Saugatuck area. The cottage was exactly as described but even better in person. Being tucked away in the woods, surrounded by so much wildlife, this cottage was just magical! Every little detail had been given much thought from the decor to the layout and our favorite, the outdoor space. Thank you for making my birthday a day to remember!

Mother daughter getaway

Me and my daughter do an annual girls trip to MI to celebrate my birthday and stay in the Fennville/Douglas area. This was our first stay at this cottage, it was lovely! It was secluded yet close to Oval beach, downtown Douglas and Saugatauk. The cottage was super clean, brightly decorated with ample outdoor seating (including the screened porch). The owners have utilized every inch of space and thoughtfully thought about guests needs, including bottled water and filtered water. The wildlife was an added bonus. We will definitely be back!

Sweet Cottage

We had a great weekend with friends at Little Stuga. The cottage is charming…the outdoor space was incredible. This would be a perfect location when the chain ferry is operating. One of the mattresses really needs replacing. All in all, would stay again.

Little Stuga is very cozy.

I have to say, Little Stuga exceeded my expectations. It was a very cozy stay. Everything was clean and there was everything that was needed. Just wish the weather would have been better so we could have enjoyed the outdoor areas. We were very disappointed that the fireplace didn’t work.

We loved the location of the Little Stuga. It was very easy to take the ferry over to Saugatuck and to drive a few minutes down the road to Oval Beach. It is a small cottage for no more than four people, two bedrooms and one and a half bath. We used the screen front porch every day and the fire pit area. Very private property.

Girls rock hunting summer getaway

Little Stuga was the perfect cottage for two of us! Everything was well maintained and well stocked. We enjoyed the screened-in porch, alot! Plenty of restaurants and rocky beaches nearby. We used the interurban transport to go over to Saugatuck for a cruise and dinner -- very convenient and adfordable! Hope to return next year!

Excellent Experience

The property exceeded our expectations; it was very comfortable, clean and mostly private. There are small areas around the house to chill out and enough space inside to get the privacy you need to simply read a book, listen to the rain or take a nap. Check-in was very easy, communication was prompt and useful and the property was well maintained and documented.
