Dating from the mid 18th century, The Courtyard House sits on the private Came Estate, and can be booked for four guests as a small family or friends gathering, or alternatively for up to 8 guests if all of the bedrooms are required for a larger party (see separate listing for 8 guests).

Enjoying far reaching rural views, this handsome, semi-detached property provides all the splendour and elegance of the Victorian era along with the comforts and luxuries of the modern age, thanks to a sensitive and thoughtful renovation. Guests can enjoy the spacious sitting room with high ceilings, dual aspect tall windows and a roaring open fire. The modern kitchen has ample facilities to cater for everyone, along with a large dining table, providing a sociable area for preparing and enjoying meals together. Also on the ground floor you will find a useful utility room, and a spacious cloakroom/wc.

The house has four bedrooms which are located on both the first and second floors, but when let for smaller parties of four guests, only the two en-suite bedrooms on the first floor are made available, the first being a super-king size bedroom, and the second a king-size bedroom. The two bedrooms on the second floor are locked when partial occupancy of this beautiful house is booked.

The Courtyard House is surrounded by stunning Dorset countryside, and conveniently located close to the nearby Jurassic coast. Just two miles away you will find the county town of Dorchester with its shops, cafes, restaurants, cinemas and museums, and also close by is popular Ringstead Bay, Weymouth Beach and the charming Lulworth Cove.
