'I have to say, first up, the bed was the best I have ever slept in. The mattess, pillows...just wonderful. The room was immaculate. We were upgraded to a deluxe room. It was beautifully furnished. Not your standard hotel room. You can see the fittings and the flooring were all chosen to reflect the elegance of this former stately home. The restaurant, bar and garden were beautiful. Such old world charm and details. The staff were endearing and very helpful. Only slight drawback. While the area...

'The staff was very helpful, but it’s a house, not a hotel. It was full of mosquitoes, no air conditioning, staff leaves at 9 pm. It was clean'

'Clean yes, near shops'

'The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I was pleasantly surprised by how excellent the interior was. There are several common areas including a full kitchen and all are well maintained and well thought out. Very beautiful.'

'Ontbijt mag wat uitgebreider '

'Departamento limpio, la vista a la ciudad es hermosa, cero ruido, pleno descanso, en una zona muy linda, segura y con muchos restaurantes cerca.'

'Vriendelijk personeel en uitbater. Geen vraag is teveel. Ze helpen je goed verder. Kamer is netheid. Zeer lekker ontbijt a la carte.'

'Great stay '

'Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam'

'All good for a cheaper hotel. Pass on the cheapest room and book the studio room. Wifi was in and out but mostly working in the room. Good signal in the lobby.'

'A very good hotel for a short stay in San Jose. We had a hugh room on the 9th floor. Breakfast was good, but not many choices. Coffee was weak, but that's a problem all over Costa Rica. Some nice restaurants in the neighbourhood, I highly recommend Lubnan, a Lebanese restaurant. The hotel is a 20 minute walk from downtown San Jose.'

'Prima 1e hotel om te starten met je rondreis.'

'Easy walk to the National Stadium and multiple bus routes, but the hotel itself is on a quiet street. The staff were friendly and helpful. '

'Het hotel is heel netjes en degelijk. Fijn om te verblijven. Nadeel is wel dat de kant waar wij zaten van het hotel aan de straat zit en je continu het gepiep van het voetgangerslicht hoort.'
