'My family and I stayed 3 nights . The hotel was located In the heart of shopping and restaurants which was all walkable. The breakfast was probably the best I’ve had for hotel breakfast, lots of variety and everything tasted good. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff were also very friendly. Also only a 15-20 min ride to downtown Charleston. We will definitely be back. '

'The staff is very courteous here, we extended our stay by 1 night and they kept us in the same room. Offered housekeeping but we really didnt need it so they gave us coffee and advised if we changed our minds to let them know and someone could come up with towels. Facility is extremely clean as well as the rooms. Would stay again. Next to a shopping area and gas stations.'

'Great location great restaurants. Only negative was the amount of entitled people there. However it goes with the territory when you are among 10 million dollar homes it comes with the area.'

'This is my third time staying here and I will always recommend it. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. We had one issue with noise and the staff resolved it immediately. This is the best place to stay with close proximity to anything you’d want to visit in Charleston. Highly recommend and will definitely stay again! The staff was also super welcoming and friendly! 'Shem Creek Inn was the perfect place for me and my son to stay for catching a charter boat to Crab Bank and for visiting Charleston. The hotel was clean, modern, and beautifully located on the creek with loads of pelicans and other birds flying by. Nicole at check in was super helpful and friendly, and the self-serve breakfast had better options for us than, for example, a Holiday Inn Express. Parking was a breeze in December, and plenty of good restaurants close by. I'd certainly stay here...

'Everything about staying here was perfect. It was quiet and clean. The staff were always working and on top of things, they were very welcoming as well. My partner and I enjoyed the free breakfast, traveling can be expensive so the fact that we could rely on that was nice. It always felt warm and inviting. Despite how many people were staying/around us at the time, we always felt like we were in our own place. The location made this place even better! We got best of both worlds being so close to...
