'We had amazing stay at Ubuntu. From manager to housekeeping all staffs were helpful. This place puts customer service above all. Shout out to Vishaw, Indika and kitchen staff for going above and beyond. Besides great staff, hotel is located at quaint beach where you can spot turtles at night. They even had baby turtle releasing event in the evening. Overall I highly recommend this boutique hotel. We had great experience. '

'We were greeted with a delicious welcome juice and a cold towel. Check in was speedy, bags were promptly delivered to our room and the room itself was spacious, cool and with a nice view. The hotel provides towels for the beach as well as the pool and the breakfast was a good spread with an egg station. All staff were friendly and calm. Coconut tree hill is a very short walk and mirissa beach was 200lrk in a tuk tuk but was also walkable. Would definitely stay again'

'Went there as a family and booked two rooms overlooking the ocean (2nd floor). It was magical. Comfy beds, beautiful ocean and sunset views, great pool and direct beach access, and wonderful staff who were always on hand to help. Breakfast was brilliant - fruit platter, fresh juice, choice of eggs (recommend the Sri Lanka omelette) and pancakes. Absolutely loved our stay here - I could sit on the balcony and look at the ocean for a week. Note: We were there late October, so the hotel was...

'Staff/owners are lovely and so helpful. Parked our tuktuk at the bottom of the short path (2mins to the hotel from tuktuk) Wifi great. We upgraded during our stay as we was originally in a double room with no AC. It was far too small and hot. So we then paid to move upstairs. The room had AC and was bigger for our cases. Area is fine. Food and beach nerby. '
