Condo was great, and as described. Pool was heated (at least the first part of the week) and we used the hot tub often. Easy to access the beach and it was great to enjoy the ocean view! Good location in Destin, close to everything.Condo could use a little maintenance, as with most rentals - Shower door is off the track Patio door does not open wellHeat light in bathroom - knob does not workNo Dishcloths The code was disabled by 9/9:30am when check out was not until 10. (On check out morning.)

Place was a great location and set up. Furniture in living room needs updating couch was awful. Kitchen needs more supplies had to really improvise just to cook basic things. The balcony was great except there was wet caulk all over the door that we all kept running into and getting on our hands and clothes. I did contact scenic stays many times about this throughout the week and they just pushed it off and finally said they would send someone but we never saw anyone. Will for sure stay in building again not sure if we would stay in the exact condo.

We arrived early at 10am knowing check-in was not until 4, however, we called and were told at 10am the room was cleaned already so we would get a text or email by 1 to be possibly let in early. After calling a second time, we finally got in at 3:55pm. When they say there are minimal supplies that is indeed true. 2 rolls of toilet paper, 1 roll of paper towel, very little dish soap and laundry detergent. Not even salt and pepper.The furniture is old and filthy.The shower door in the master bath is falling off the track and water runs out everywhere.The balcony furniture is VERY uncomfortable and old.The master bed was very nice.We didn’t have a car as it states walking distance to grocery stores, Target etc It was a very busy highway and quite a ways to walk with groceries. Check out was easy. Would not revisit this place but the beach is absolutely beautiful.

The location with the beach/ocean view was impeccable. The condo offered a ton of space. However, it could use some TLC and updating. Couches and chairs were very dirty, lightbulbs missing in master bath, carpeting in master bath closet was filthy and fridge did not get very cold either. Maintenance was on the spot for all of our needs though. Again, very good location with a lot of room for family.

Unfortunately, the staying at this place wasnt what we expected. Even though the view and the location is a plus the condition of the condo is pretty bad. Most of the issues I am about to list, have been brought up to the owner but nothing has been done:* shower door in the master bedroom totally broken, impossible to slide it to the side.* Curtains hanging by a fork, I guess the curtain poles are expensive now days in the market* coffee maker didnt work so no coffee in the morning* end table lamps in the master bedroom didnt work, neither the outlets* wet white caulk all over the balcony, some our clothes were ruined. You couldnt even sit outside* power cords hanging from the walls* missing light bulbs from the mirror in the master bedroom* no light in the toilet room in the master bedroomAnd I can keep going, we spent our weekend talking to the management for solutions. Ido not recommend from Jade East condo 1830. Nothing get done if you complain.

The property was perfect. Had a little trouble with wifi connection, but got it resolved quickly. Spacious enough for four adults to spread out.Ocean front view was spectacular. Saw an abundance of ocean wildlife while we were there.

I have stayed at Jade East one other time, but not in this particular condo. I would not stay in this particular condo again Pros:The view was awesome.The beds were very comfortable.Cons:There were no smoke detectors in either of the bedrooms.The TV in the master bedroom wouldn’t work was in contact starting the day we checked in with the property management group. They sent a maintenance man on Sunday to fix it but he was unable to fix it. They did not send out someone else until Thursday. We were there from Saturday to Saturday.The water pressure was very low. It was hard to even rinse your hair.There was standing water in the hall bath when you took a showerThe refrigerator did not get very coldThe furniture in the living room(a couch and two chair chairs) were all stained and mismatchedThe shower doors in the master bedroom, kept coming off the trackThere was no hairdryer as the description stated. They did bring a hairdryer on Sunday.The tile grout in the bathrooms needed to be cleaneOnly one of the sliding glass doors to the balcony openedThere were several outlets that did not workAnd the day we arrived only one out of the three elevators worked. Throughout the week they did get a second one going however it would frequently go down and a couple even got stuck on the elevator for 30 minutes.. unless you rented the chairs from the rental company on the beach, you were not allowed to sit in front of any chairs (even if it was your own) in the water.

Very nice place. Relaxing with great views. Amenities were great. The water pressure in the showers is the only thing I can say was lacking. Everything else was phenomenal!

Destin 2025

Dustin was very nice. Our condo was on Emerald Coast Highway which is very busy in that section. The water was gorgeous as was the beach. A few things about our condo is that it is in bad need of being updated. The master bathroom is very old tile. The shower doors were falling off their track multiple times in the grout in the tile was gross. The closet in the master bath had carpeting, which was also bad. The sofa was not comfortable in the furniture. All appeared to be from the 90s. The kitchen was not well equipped at all. We had about six coffee mugs, which all were chipped. We had 2 teaspoons. We bought mugs and spoons at the dollar tree to use for the week. The two sliders onto the deck did not close properly and one was extremely hard to even get open in the first place. Our icemaker quit working one week into our stay and was never fixed despite multiple messages back-and-forth with the management. They did give us a small credit for the inconvenience, however, they never came to fix it for the rest of our stay. Another thing that we were not pleased with, which is not the fault of the management, is that you are not allowed to put your beach chairs in front of the rental chairs. Even though we all pay to be at the same condo building unless you’re renting chairs, you don’t get the privilege of sitting up by the water. This was hard when you have small children who want to be in the water.

Beautiful view

Overall we had a great stay. Beautiful view from the condo. We really enjoyed the beach so close and pool amenities. Was able to see dolphins several mornings. Condo was as listed and shown in pictures. The bathroom and kitchen could use updating but knew that when booking and was not a problem. Would have given 4.5 stars only because one elevator out of 3 was working, shower in the main bathroom could use a more thorough cleaning, only 3 spoons available, 5 hangers, and was told we would have 2 beach chairs and an umbrella included but it was not. Beach service is 55 per day for the two chairs and umbrella!!! Bring your own beach chairs!! Management very responsive!! Overall, a positive experience.

destin trip

The unit itself is nice but needs a few things done. the coffee table is old and legs are not sturdy. Needs a new one. The master shower sliding door is broken and a drawer in the fridge is broken. A few maintenance and upgrades in furnishings needed but other wise nice.
