My main complaints would be that by the time Thursday rolled around the garbage out front by the office and the garbage that goes into the chutes on each floor were filled beyond capacity and the garbage was stacking up on the concrete floor below the chutes. I think that more effort needs to be put into living up to the reputation that Silver Dunes has maintained in the past in this area. The room was clean; however, I think a little more effort could be shown in this area also. Silver Dunes has always been like a second home to us. Please strive to keep it that way in the future.

We already booked for next summer, but we are staying closer to the beach. For this unit I would recommend a fan with a light kit in the living room. It was too dark at night even with the lamps on. The fan could circulate the AC too. The outlet behind the couch didn't work. I can't remember if it was the top or bottom plug in. Other than that, it was nice.

We were disappointed in the beach service. Our 2 sets were right on the line between Silver Dunes and Sun Destin. It was very crowded and people from Sun Destin continually set up in front of us. We will request, next year, to be placed somewhere else. All in all it was a great trip.

Highly Recommend

Typically we stay in a high-rise condo but this year we went on spring break with a group that was staying at Silver Dunes so we gave it a try. It was fantastic! The property is clean and quiet. Never a long wait for the elevator, plenty of luggage carts. Unit 43 was spacious, updated and well-stocked. Having the bedrooms on the 2nd level was fantastic! All photos are accurate. Owner was very responsive. Beach chair company is friendly, pool is heated. All of the kids loved playing in the greenspace between the pool and the ocean in the evenings. Chick-fil-A, Pizza Hut and Shakes across the street, Dunkin Donuts/Baskin Robbins and Blalocks (fresh seafood *very good*) less than 1/4 of a mile walk. Highly recommend!

Pool was so refreshing after a long day at the beach and the tennis/ basketball courts looked brand new! Unit 43 is very clean and comfortable with plenty of space and it felt just like home. The beds were so comfy! Loved everything about Silver Dunes and Unit 43. The best part is that Silver Dunes is a smaller complex so the beach is never crowded like some of the others we saw and everyone was so friendly! Close to The Track, Big Kahunas water park , several restaurants and shops. We would definitely stay here again!
