Captain’s Quarters is Paradise on Lake Texoma! Wonderful family neighborhood for the perfect getaway. Quiet hours after midnight. The Captain's Quarters offers a rustic retreat for sea faring folk and land lovers alike. You will not feel cramped in the two story great room graced with soaring ceilings, massive windows, and rich wooden surfaces fashioned from logs indigenous to North Texas by a true craftsman. Sprawling entertaining spaces flow out to the outdoor living area and in-counter gas grill adjoining a large, inviting swimming pool with lights and water features nicely landscaped with tropical plants and flowers.

Play a game of poolside billiards under the lanai while you watch the kids enjoying the log playhouse, trampoline, or wooden tree swing. The outdoor restroom is so convenient, too.

The master bedroom upstairs has its own private balcony to enjoy your morning coffee and the symphony of birds chirping, or a nightcap under a blanket of stars.

This house is close to perfection!!!!Pros: Bedrooms: All beds were comfortable for our group2 full bathrooms -1 outdoor toiletLaundry room well stockedKitchen: Had everything we needed, so many spices, even had some fish fry mix that was a big hitOutdoor Kitchen: Grill was fantastic, loved having the covered patio area to sit in. Was a big hit first thing in the morning for coffee, and on the few times it rained, still allowed us to sit outdoorsPool: AMAZING and so many floaties and toys provided, could always find sun or shade.Outdoor pool table: Kids and adults all enjoyed itLiving room: plenty of room for all of us to sit and visit when we chose to be indoorsBeautifully decorated inside and outWalmart delivery is super fastPet friendly, although our little dog could get out the patio fence. The pictures don’t do this place justice! The pool is huge, loved having the “outhouse” so we didn’t have to go in and out of the house. The house was well stocked with everything you’ll need and then some! It’s well furnished and the beds were comfortable. Check in was simple and the host was really nice. We had a great time and can’t wait to come back!

This was our second trip to the property and it was terrific. Great location 5 minutes from Grandpappy Marina. The pool is huge and a great amenity. Chris is a great owner, super helpful and great communication. You have everything you need to have a great trip. I highly recommend it and will be back again!

Beautiful, clean, user-friendly house full of fun. We loved the house and it was perfect for our family. But the best part is the backyard pool and recreation area. It's private, spacious, and comes with tons of inspiration for good time. Our host was accommodating, available, and gracious. We had a wonderful time, and I would recommend this property heartily.

The Captain’s Quarters was the perfect getaway. Even though we spent time at the lake and a beach the kids couldn’t wait to get back to the amazing backyard and pool. Plenty of shaded seating and the outdoor kitchen supported lots of quality family time.And opportunity to read a good book. Only advice would be to bring bug repellent if you’re planning on being outdoors in the summer and not in the pool. Thanks for an amazing time!

Owner was great! We rented this house and the larger house that’s on same property…same owner. Outside area was so great and relaxing. So many floats for pool, plenty of seating and different areas to hang out. A lot of games indoor and outdoor. Very easy check in and out… and owner was around for anything that we may have needed. Short drive into town and to the marina. Would recommend for sure…especially renting both for larger groups.

We enjoyed the property so much last year, we came again this year! This is our 2nd time to visit the “Capital’s Quarters”! Chris is an exceptional host and made our stay wonderful! Checked to see if we needed anything and made sure the pool was clean! We had the best time with family and friends! The property offers something for everyone, from the outdoor pool table, to the outdoor kitchen, swings, playhouse (if you have younger kids), trampoline, lots of indoor and outdoor games! and plenty of space inside for our family to enjoy! We loved playing volley ball in the pool! Something for everyone even the fishermen in our group were happy with our accommodations being a few minutes drive from the lake! We Will be coming again next year for sure! “Captain’s Quarters” did not disappoint! Absolutely loved it!

Host super awesome, checked on us, brought kids pool toys. This was such an AMAZING property.....we actually talked about going again next year. Spent every evening in pool then sitting by fire with kids, visiting and roasting marshmallows and Starburst. A much needed retreat and great family memories ❤️

Nice property but the mattress DEFINITELY needs to be replaced. The sheets came off and asi pulled them back up I was mortified and it was near impossible to fall asleep the second night. Luckily I just slept on the couch.
