Surf’s Up is a remodeled 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath private beach house designed for families and friends who want space, comfort, convenience, and easy access to everything Daytona Beach has to offer.

Located less than 2 miles south of the Daytona Beach Boardwalk and less than 6 miles from Daytona International Speedway, the home puts you close to the beach, restaurants, shops, mini golf, surfing, local attractions, Bike Week activities, race events, and more.

Best of all, you can leave the car behind for many activities. The ocean is just across A1A, so there is no need to pay for beach parking when you want to spend the day by the water.

MERMAID COVE PRIVATE SUITE
One of the most unique features of Surf’s Up is our Mermaid Cove in-law suite. It counts as the 3rd bedroom on the property. This separate studio-style space is attached to the main house and offers additional privacy while still keeping your group together. The doors to both spaces are right next to one another, making it easy for families or groups to stay connected.

Unlike many beach-area properties, Surf’s Up offers plenty of room for vehicles.

This can be especially convenient for race guests, bikers, families traveling in several vehicles, or guests towing recreational equipment. Golf carts are not included with the property due to insurance requirements. However, local golf cart rental companies may offer delivery and pickup directly from the home. Guests who are interested in renting a golf cart can contact one of the nearby rental businesses.

YOUR PRIVATE SPACE
During your reservation, the property is exclusively yours to enjoy without unexpected host visits or interruptions. Guests have access to everything except a small locked owner’s closet. Both the main house and Mermaid Cove are included with your reservation and are connected with entrances located directly beside one another.

We provide door codes before check-in, so you can conveniently let yourself in.

HOST AVAILABILITY
We’re available as little or as much as you need through messaging.
We want you to feel comfortable and enjoy your vacation without unnecessary interruptions.

CLEANING
We take pride in thoroughly cleaning and preparing Surf’s Up between guests.
Because this is a beach house in Florida, guests should also remember that the tropical climate includes wildlife and insects.

We have regular pest-control service, but bugs can occasionally enter any Florida home—especially when exterior doors or windows are left open.
To help keep the home comfortable, please:

✔ Keep window screens properly closed
✔ Avoid leaving uncovered food on counters
✔ Clean crumbs and spills promptly
✔ Store food properly
Many Florida residents even store bread and other pantry foods in the refrigerator during warmer months.

FAMILY-FRIENDLY, NOT A PARTY HOUSE
Surf’s Up was created for families, couples, friends, and groups who want to enjoy Daytona Beach together. We welcome celebrations and vacations, but this is not a loud party house. The home is located in a clean, quieter residential beach area, and we ask guests to respect our neighbors. Please avoid loud outdoor gatherings, excessive noise, or disruptive behavior.

AGE REQUIREMENT
The primary renter should be at least 23 years old, unless we have approved an exception in advance.

NO SMOKING
Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside the home. Evidence of indoor smoking or lingering odors may require professional odor remediation, furniture cleaning, and/or duct cleaning. Thank you for helping us keep the home fresh and comfortable for future guests.

WEATHER & TRAVEL INSURANCE
Florida weather can sometimes be unpredictable. We do not provide refunds for weather-related circumstances that are outside of our control. We recommend purchasing travel insurance if hurricanes, storms, flight cancellations, travel delays, or other unexpected events could interfere with your trip.

SECURITY
For property protection and guest safety, exterior security cameras are located on the outside corners of the house. There are no security cameras inside the home.
The exterior cameras are used primarily for security and when the property is vacant. Smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors are also installed in the home.

A REAL FAMILY BEACH HOUSE
Surf’s Up isn’t a cookie-cutter commercial rental. It is a family beach house that we enjoy ourselves and have opened to guests who want to make their own Daytona memories. We created this space because time with family and friends is important. Spend the morning watching the waves, walk to the beach with the kids, relax in a hammock, cook dinner outside, gather around the fire table, play games together, or simply unwind after a busy day. However you spend your vacation, we hope Surf’s Up gives you a comfortable place to slow down and enjoy the people you came with. Walk to the ocean. Enjoy the large yard. Bring the family.
