Stay directly on the beach in a well-appointed, privately-owned (non-smoking) 2 Bedroom / 2 Bathroom Condo at The Sand Dollar.

The Ocean-front Sand Dollar, directly on the beach, of the Majestic Atlantic Ocean, is a quiet, family building with heated Pool (85 degrees), Jacuzzi Hot Tub, 2 Saunas and Free WiFi. Please Note: Our Pool is currently down for renovations.

Our beach condo is exquisitely decorated in a relaxing, sophisticated coastal style with soothing colors. Light and breezy, with a palette drawn from sand, shells, sea and sky, it whispers 'summer' all year round. You will be pleased with your decision to stay in this lovely, up-scale beach condo.

Unit 905 comfortably sleeps 6 people. The Master Bedroom, which opens onto the Balcony, has a (top-of-the-line Serta Marvelous Sleep, pillow-top mattress) King-sized bed and its own private bathroom and flat-screen TV. The Guest Room, with flat-screen TV, has two extra-long twins, which can be made into a king if you wish. In the Living Room, are two leather sofas, and one has a Queen-sized sleeper bed. The Guest Room and the Living Room share the other full-sized bathroom.

The Living Room and Dining area open onto a spacious private Balcony. There is a fully-equipped Kitchen with all full-sized appliances. Full-size, private Washer and Drier. Hair dryers in both bathrooms. Flat screen TVs in both bedroom and Living Room along with a CD/DVD. Free high-speed WiFi.

Secure Underground Parking (7’ height clearance) for one vehicle. Additional parking available on surface lot. Beach Chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards and more are available for your use.

Bedding, Sheets, Linens, and Towels (including Beach Towels) are included. We provide a starter supply of toilet paper, laundry detergent, dishwashing supplies, etc. The only items you need to bring are your own personal items and bathing toiletries.

Daytona is home to: Daytona International Speedway. NASCAR. LPGA National Headquarters. Greyhound Racing. Beachside Boardwalk. Numerous Festivals and Special Events. Even the telephone area code (386) spells F-U-N on the telephone keypad.

The following are close to The Sand Dollar: Grocery store and Pharmacy (within 1/3 mile). Fishing Pier with rod rentals. Deep Sea Fishing. Surfing. Para Sailing. Jet Skiing. Kayaking. Boating. P.S. Tim is an MD (ENT surgeon). Tricia is an RN. We have high expectations of clean. Ellen, our housekeeper, does a wonderful job of cleaning.

Our stay in unit 905 at the Sand Dollar, right on the beach, has been most enjoyable. It definitely was a “home” away from home.

There were no amenities lacking and we were very impressed by the cleanliness and impeccable décor. It is evident that a great deal of time, effort and thought has gone into making the unit as eye-pleasing and comfortable as it is.

We will both miss the sunshine on the balcony, our afternoons by the pool and our morning walks on the beach. We go home with many fond memories of our Florida vacation at Daytona Beach Shores.

What a lovely condo. It was a privilege to spend 2 weeks in this attractive, lovely place. We have enjoyed the beach every day and the pool and the Jacuzzi. We were so tired when we arrived.

We are leaving much rested. The condo was quiet with unbelievable sunsets and sunrises. It was so nice to have our family reunion here and lots of good food.

We hope we will be able to come back next year.

Our week in your condo has been very enjoyable. We have spent countless hours playing on the beach and swimming in the pool. The kids have had a wonderful time collecting shells. We survived (and very much enjoyed) a day at Sea World, along with every other Spring Breaker from the North. We have had beautiful weather for the first week in April. Thank you for such a wonderful condo. This was our 1st trip and we couldn’t have asked for anything better! The beautiful sunrise and sunset were just the tip of the great things we saw. My personal favorite was the daily dolphin sightings! Each morning they played close to shore and it was a sight I’ll never forget. One other great sighting was the space shuttle launch! Again, something we’ll never forget. It amazed us that we could see it so clearly from the balcony.

The folks here at the condo were very nice – especially the superintendent. We look forward to our next visit and will most definitely request your condo again.
