'We have stayed here before and always had a great stay. Easy free parking and easy to get to the town and beach through the beautiful gardens. Our room was spacious and very comfortable with a lovely window area to sit at and enjoy the view. Bed was very comfortable and plenty storage space if you were staying a while. Evening meal was very tasty as was the breakfast. Bar was well stocked and reasonably priced for a hotel. Will definitely return. '

'We had a one night stay in the hotel, we were greeted and made to feel very welcome. The hotel is an old build but is very clean, the room was huge with a double bed and bunk beds. Bedding was fresh and clean, bathroom clean and the water lovely and hot with lots of fresh towels. Overall a great stay, will definitely book again. Highly recommend if your in Torquay '

'This is the the most wonderful place for an 'escape'. Miles from anywhere but in the middle of the most beautiful Devon countryside. The welcome was lovely, the room was superb - as was the breakfast - in all the perfect stay.The local pub in tremendous and do very nice food but you will need to drive, the walk back would be a challenge after a few.'
