It is a unique villa, situated right on the beach with a safe and lovely swimming area just down the steps from the back garden. 'Comfortable room with airco. Mattress was a bit too hard, but NASA foam like tops were available. Simple dinner, meat or fish, but very good taste. Good service. No swimming pool, but located 20m distance from the sea with 26°C water temperature in December. No alcohol served, due to license, but they said this was only temporarily. Room service for the second day at least did not show up.'

'Secret Garden is a lovely,quirky,relaxed place to stay at Unawatuna Beach. The staff are amazing and make you feel totally welcome. You are staying in a beautifully maintained jungle type garden with resident squirrels, various birds and the friendly happy dogs. We would certainly stay again.'

'We were really looking forward to staying at Green Villa but upon arrival they said there was a problem with the room and they were completely booked so had to book us in a hotel next door. The place next door was dirty and only half as nice. I went back when I saw they had availability the next 3 nights and they were able to put us in a ground floor room (I paid for a balcony) but it was still nice.
