Metro station “East Nanjing road” at 5 minute walking distance. Amazing friendly staff that speak excellent English. Absolute go to when staying in the tourist center of Shanghai.'

'Entrance to the hotel is very strange, rooms look and feel rather old. Staff could have been more helpful.'

'Rooms were clean and well kept every day. Staff was a great help to assist with Mei Tuan deliveries. Great service from the front desk during check out (Isabella). My stay also include access to the M club which was a great place to recharge after a long day out. I used the Steambath on L6 for almost the whole visit which was well maintained. Did not use gym but it looked very spacious.'

'The location of the hotel is excellent, which is so important in an enormous city like Shanghai. The breakfast at the hotel is fine and all food and drinks are very reasonably priced. The rooms are a bit small, but all the necessary amenities are there. Definitely a pleasant stay and I'll consider this place again for a next trip to Shanghai.'

'what I like about the renaissance hotel is mainly the atmosphere in the hotel. A lot of chinese hotels are beautiful but overwhelming huge. Too high ceilings, too much marmor. The renaissance is more boutique like with good sound and atmosphere. Everything is there, very comfortable but not overdone'
