'This is a gem in Santa Teresa. The staff are all superb my kids loved the surf instructor (Diego is amazing) and I loved the morning yoga instructor (Daniella is superb) a great way to start your day and spend the whole day with attentive and professional staff. 'We stopped in Puntarenas on our way back from the west coast to San Juan. Unless you are curious to see all of Costa Rica, there is not much at all in this area. It's a filthy, poor area with little to offer, even though it is so close to the beach. The hotel is kind of old and tired with an unclean looking pool. Food is mediocre at best. We had a suite in the newly build tower, supposedly with a view over the marina. No view unless you stand on the balcony. We asked for a different room but got...
