well, the host was very nice, the area i rented was very nice. there was a small make shift kitchen, the bathroom was very nice. the whole place was very clean and organized. that being said, it was not at all what i thought i was renting. this is a furnished basement in a house where people live. i thought vrbo specialized in whole property rentals. i was trying to get away from people and i could hear them walking overhead. this put a big damper on my vacation. i paid a lot of money (to me) to rent a place secluded from people and that is not what i got. there is no kind of information stating that this is a basement and the property is shared. i definitely would have found something different had i known this.

This is one of my all time places to stay in the world! Ken and Cheryl are THE BEST hosts. The property is gorgeous, peaceful and clean. It has everything you could want and the thoughtful design and inclusions leave a lasting impression. From the home baked bread that is waiting for you in the kitchen, to the cozy beds, ping pong table and board games...no detail has been left out. We come here to get away from how busy life has gotten...it is the perfect place to reconnect as a family - this time we did not go to Wisp (we have previously as it is a short drive to the mountain), we opted to watch movies, play ping pong and just hang out. In a world that has gotten so busy and overstimulating, I find the Board Room - Enchanted Meadow is a little slice of heaven and respite. We even received delicious homemade cookies! My son was delighted. This is a very special place and one where you will be treated like family. Thank you Cheryl and Ken, we cannot wait to return!

Quiet and spacious

My husband and I stayed to visit with friends who were staying nearby. It was a lovely quiet retreat. This is our second time staying with this host. Would not hesitate to rent again. I left behind a pillow and they very kindly put it on the porch well packaged so I could stop by and pick it up, which is much appreciated

Despite the fact that this place sleeps eight and seats 12 in the dining area, the host will charge you for guests above two. We were harassed throughout the stay. It was not enjoyable as a result. There are many other places to stay in the area.

Greaty stay! Quietly nestled off the beaten path

We loved the Board Room. Very responsive hosts. So much room. Super clean and completely stocked: kitchen had all the tools for a full meal and an easy breakfast + seating for 12 for meals, Ping pong (great fun!) assorted board games and large TV. We visited in Fall but would love to see Spring and Winter as well. Bed was so great we over slept the alarm!

The Board Room was nicely decorated. It had plenty of seating (2 couches, daybed, dining table, game table and a few comfy chairs). The large property was amazing. We enjoyed having a bonfire and watching a couple deer grazing. There was a large pond within walking distance

Girls weekend

This is a very cute place that is close enough to Deep Creek yet far enough from all the chaos. It was very clean and decorated nicely. The owner allowed us to pick fresh vegetables from his garden which was very sweet. I would recommend this place if you are coming to deep creek and like the wooded area.
