  • Deze besloten omgeving binnen een gevestigde gemeenschap is het perfecte uitje met koele bergtemperaturen en ontspannende briesjes aan het meer. Het huis met uitzicht op het meer ligt aan het meer van Glenville en de gewaagde Pine Creek en biedt toegang tot het meer door de gemeenschappelijke ruimte om te picknicken en zwemmen. Geluiden van de meeslepende kreek zijn te horen tijdens het ontspannen of dineren op de open of overdekte dekken. Huis in berghutstijl heeft een gemakkelijke toegang en biedt 4 slaapkamers / 4 badkamers plus een speelkamer. Alle kamers en dekken (4) kijken uit op het meer. Begane grond bestaat uit grote kamer, keuken, eetkamer, slaapkamer en bad, wasplaats, half bad en 2 dekken voor eenvoudige enkele verdieping woonkamer. Grote kamer met plafonds van 21 inch, houten vloeren en een grote open haard, heeft een open plattegrond met keuken en eethoek. Ouderslaapkamer (koning) heeft openslaande deuren naar een overdekt terras. Master bad heeft twee wastafels, granieten aanrecht, 2 personen ligbad en aparte douche. Boven vindt u 2 slaapkamers (2 tweelingen / 1 koningin) elk met gezellige zitplaatsen bij het raam en een eigen toilet (douche / bad-eenheid wordt gedeeld). Beneden is de speelkamer en een complete badkamer met pooltafel (w / ping-pong), gestapelde stenen open haard, bar / aanrecht met graniet en kleine spoelbak / koelkast, en speeltafels. Er is ook een groot terras met tuinmeubilair direct naast de speelkamer om het entertainmentgebied uit te breiden. Kelder bevat ook een extra slaapkamer / bonuskamer (tweepersoonsbed) die klein en schilderachtig is, maar een fantastisch uitzicht op het meer heeft. Geweldig voor tieners!

The house sits beautifully on the side of the mountain with an exquisite lake view. The host was very friendly and provided clear and concise directions to the house and instructions for the house. House was clean and very family friendly.

Thanksgiving Vacation

It was picturesque beautiful. The owner was phenomenal. Great contact great communication!!! we had Thanksgiving dinner there. Everything was available. Such a perfect trip. Highly recommend will definitely be back. Thank you so much for your hospitality and your gorgeous home.!!!

Amazing house and property!

The property is is everything we expect and more! House was clean and well stocked with everything you may need. Living room is spacious and cozy just like the bedrooms. It’s perfect for any family getaway. Would highly recommend this house and Randy was a great host. Always there to answer any questions. We will definitely be back!

The home was clean, well-appointed, and roomy. The outdoor living spaces (four decks!) and the nearby common lake access for fishing and kayaking kept us outside most of the week. A wonderful place to relax and enjoy nature, the home is about 20 minutes from Cashiers and just under 30 minutes from Highlands.

Little Get Away

My husband and I went to Glenville for a wedding. Beautiful home and very comfortable! Great game room that would be fun if the rest of the family had been here. Very quiet and beautiful views. One needs to be fairly agile to get to the lake ... we impressed ourselves and climbed down the stairs To the lake :). You can access the stairs from the upper parking area. Driveway is a little tricky but worth it for the view. Lovely home!!!!

Wonderful Getaway!!

House is beautiful and nicely furnished. Even though it was a foggy and rainy weekend, we enjoyed the cozy fireplace and cooking in the large kitchen. Beautiful views from all decks. Just the two of us so only used master bedroom. Bed was very comfortable and we loved the soaking tub. Host was very helpful and responsive with answering any questions. House was super clean. Easy to get to nice places to eat in Glenville, Cashiers and Highlands. Can’t wait to go back this summer!!

FALL FUN

The house is stunning. I loved the great room setup. It allowed the cooks to mingle with everyone. The home is well stocked with everything you need. It has a beautiful, quiet view of a Lake Glenville cove. We enjoyed seeing the early morning mist hovering over the lake and each morning a duck family would cut "v"s through the lake. Everything was peaceful and restful. Our family enjoyed the fireplace, the game room and the trail down to the lake. We'll definitely stay again. Randy was easy to communicate with and very helpful and accommodating. Thanks Randy for opening your spectacular home to us.

Shortcomings

Neither phone nor internet would work for most of our stay. This presented problem for our granddaughter who had college work to do which required internet access.The thermostats had upper limits on them which were inadequate for keeping the house comfortable. When will our security deposit be returned?

Lovely View

A nice mountain/lake view home with a very safe yard for your pets. You are very far away from active roads, although the yard is steep as in most mountain areas. Our large Pointers enjoyed themselves.

Birthday extended weekend at the lake with family.

Perfect setting for a chance to spend time with family to celebrate my birthday. Plenty of space inside and out for everyone. Beautiful view of the lake with water access just down the road. Enjoyed the pool and ping pong table. Added bonus was the chance to bring our “doggie” family members along.

Beautiful property!

Really liked the property itself. Very secluded and off the beaten path. Great for privacy and isolation. When booking be ready to give your e-mail address, driver's license, mailing addresses and sign additional documentation above VRBO. I have used my own property for several years as a VRBO Rental and never required my clients to jump through as many hoops to get directions to the house and access to the property. As I said property was beautiful. Bring everything with you because getting to the store is an adventure in itself.

Great house in great location

The house is awesome, the surrounding areas are some of the best around. Waterfalls, horseback riding, hiking and a lot more! We will do it again. Randy the home owner made things very easy, and is extremely helpful. Thank you Randy! Joe Byne

Beautiful/Clean Private & Quite

We enjoyed our stay! The house was clean and comfortable! The kitchen is well stocked and clean. The owner was so nice and easy to work with. The game room was an added bonus. I would definitely rent this property again and highly recommend it. Not disappointed at all.

Great Location

We were in town for a wedding and this house was a great fit. A lot of space to spread out. The game room was a Big hit! The view is awesome. We had a few questions, but Randy responded quickly.

Great view of lake and mountain with the sound of rushing creek

Perfect place to relax in well equipped home on the water in the Mountains. Best of both worlds. A bonus is a loud creek with lil rapids also borders the property for great sounds on the porches. Perfect distance of about 15- 20 mins to the town of Cashiers for anything you need. Check in was easy and property manager was a phone call away if needed . I only called to ask if more days were available. Great location as its close to Cashiers NC and Sapphire, NC. Gorges State park is also close with Rainbow falls. The biggest most water flowing waterfall in the Mountains I've ever seen. You will love this place. Lots of rooms and privacy. Three floors, all with at least one bathroom each and pool table and ping pong table. Great place for a family to get together.

A very nice mountain getaway

The Lake Glenville area is beautiful, particularly during the fall as the leaves change colors. The house is very nice, with three levels, multiple fireplaces and great outdoor seating. There are also a number of trails/ outdoor activities to enjoy in the general area. Our group ended up hiking the Whiteside Mountain Trail nearby for some amazing views. There was a more involved reservation process than I am used to, requiring a signed rental agreement and Driver's License copy in addition to our VRBO booking. As a post below stated, there was a live security camera in the living room area as well. Overall, the trip was enjoyable and just what we needed for a getaway.

Great Stay at the Lake

We had a great getaway on Lake Glenville. The home is just beautiful and so is the view. Randy was very accommodating and we found him to be quiet communicative as well. You’ll hear the sound of the waterfall beside the property from the time you enter the property and a gorgeous walk and stairway will lead you down to see the creek running alongside the home. We enjoyed our time here and found the home very comfortable.
