On arrival at night, the property area was so dark that it was hard to find the property - no security lights at all.
Inside, there were lights not working at all & many lights with low light bulbs which made the place feel like a tent.
There were ants all through the pantry & all of the top cupboards. There was termite dust all over the kitchen bench.
Upstairs the balcony door had been left wide open and the door had no screen, and so there were bugs flying around. The upstairs ensuite window was also open and had no screen. It could not be closed due to warped wood.
The ensuite had no door.
The TV would not connect to Channel 7.
The internet was not working.
Despite there being a fireplace there was no appropriate wood available to make a fire that was dry. Only enormous pieces next to the fireplace inside and all the wood outside was wet through.
I reported these issues to that evening. Property management called me next day & arranged maintenance & cleaning. However, despite replacing the bulbs, the lighting was still so bad in both the main living area & upstairs bedroom that you couldn't read a book without a torch. There was no lighting on the stairwell - very unsafe.
Despite cleaning up the ants & bugs, the ants returned.
The door panel of the built in bin which was hanging from the top & not secured at the bottom fell off. We reported this & the owner has since sent me a bill for repair!
The toaster tripped the power on the last day and we could not get it on again.
