Superbe appartement de vacances récemment construit de 800 pieds carrés avec terrasse supplémentaire de 180 pieds carrés. Style moderne mais confortable, situé au centre avec sécurité 24h / 24. En entrant, vous trouverez un coin lecture et un petit escalier qui mène au niveau principal de l'appartement avec 2 chambres, 1 salle de bain, une cuisine entièrement équipée, Internet haut débit (Wifi), une télévision à écran plat avec lecteur DVD. et câble, laveuse et sécheuse et une terrasse avec la meilleure vue de la ville ... qui a un beau coin salon et barbecue. À 20 minutes à pied d’El Centro (la place principale du centre-ville) et à 10 minutes à pied des principaux quartiers commerçants.

appartement magnifique
bel appartement, réception parfaite malgré un retard de notre avion. Tous les équipements au top mention particulière pour la lave linge et sèche linge. Grande terrasse avec barbecue et super magasin de viande en bas de l'appartement. idéalement situé à 20 mn à pied du centre ville mais taxis toujours disponible à tarif imbattable. Nous recommandons vivement cette location

Location, location, location
This is a great apartment with a patio that provides cool breezes and an amazing view of Cuenca. The location of the apartment gave you easy, walkable access to the historic center of Cuenca, the Tamabamba River, and Pumapungo Museum. The building had 24 hr security with a convenient elevator. Several mom and pop restaurants were just blocks from the building with an amazing Italian Bucher shop and cafe on the corner. Get anywhere in town with a $5 or less cab ride. Clean, well equipped and easy checkin and departure. The property Mgr, Ana Maria, was available via WhatsApp for any questions and was very responsive. A small grocery store for coffee, wine and groceries was only a few blocks away. As long as you can climb the one flight of stairs to get to the main floor, the us the perfect place for 2 friends or couples that each want their own room.

We couldn't decide whether to stay here or the historic district. Glad we stayed here. So easy to find and get settled. Plenty of stores and restaurants nearby. And the view! Comfortable beds, clean. Could probably use some fans in warm season, but was fine in April. Helpful people in the building.

Ana Marie was so helpful when we arrived. She answered all of our questions, helped us get our phone service setup and was available anytime for questions. We would highly recommend renting this apartment to others, and we plan to stay there on our next visit.

Fabulous!!
We were thrilled with the overall experience. Excellent location, close to absolutely everything we needed. A bakery, restaurant and Ital Deli just downstairs, pretty good Pizza across the street and a large selection of restaurants just a block away. Walk to the historic center or grab a bike from across the street and use the the biking paths. The condo was super charming, supplying everything that we needed for our stay. AND has amazing views both day and night. Both Ana Maria the Property Manager and Charity the owner were extremely helpful. There is so much to see and do in the Cuenca area. Beautiful scenery, amazing architecture and friendly people. Many wonderful memories created for both my husband and !! Thank you, Kim

Very nice apartment convenient to city and nearby amenities
From the booking process through the check-in and out with Ana Maria, the experience at this Cuenca apartment was wonderful. The apartment has a well stocked kitchen, nice bathroom and comfortable beds. It also has a spectacular view of the old city from a large balcony. In addition it is a very pleasant 20+ minute walk to the historic center of Cuenca. Within the building itself, there is a nice Panaderia and convenience type store and right next door is the very nice ItalDeli with a nice meat selction. Within a short walk is a SuperMaxi grocery store and numerous restaurants including Noe Sushi, Dos Sucres and El Carbonazo. We would highly recommend both the city and this property.

Loved this apartment! Rain Shower amazing , hot and forceful! The beds were so comfortable. Perfect location, 20 min walk to Historical Center. Kitchen, a chefs dream .. everything from cheese grater to food processor. The patio and view...., stunning ...well worth the price. I loved going to bed at night and waking to the stunning view in the morning. My choice again and again for Cuenca when I teturn every year!

The Perfect Stay in Cuenca
We really enjoyed our stay. I liked being an easy 15 minute walk to the historical part of Cuenca. For me, the bus and car fumes were a lot so being in a far more open area was great. Loved having the deck. The sky light made the apartment so bright - being there in July when it much cooler and can be gray was a real plus. Everything needed in the apartment was there. Also shopping for groceries was very convenient - great market and stores to buy groceries. If we go back, we would definitely stay there.

Perfect Winter Vacation
We spent a month at this lovely condo. Everything we needed was available. Comfy beds. Beautiful terrace with a view of the colonial city. Downstairs there are small markets and a coffee and chocolate shop. 20 minute walk to the city. Close to Supermaxi Grocery Store. Bus stop is right on the corner. There is an open mercado with fresh veggies and fruit within 5 minutes. Fully equipped kitchen. Washer and dryer. Lots of DVD to watch. Andrea or Charity were quick to respond to any questions. Lots of sunlight. Two large sliding Windows in both bedrooms. Had a great experience

Excellent accommodation in Cuenca
Location near the historic centre and a variety of shops, markets resta,urants, medical facilities etc... High quality facilities in kitchen, lounge and both bedrooms, with good wifi. Perhaps best of all a large terrace, with a great view over Cuenca and the Andes, very comfortable furniture and an excellent barbecue... And... visiting birds from the trees and gardens below the apartment. Altogether an excellent rental, well-managed on behalf of the owners by Belen.

Terrific location
The apartment was in a perfect location for us and was a wonderful place to stay during our month in Cuenca. The view of downtown and the mountains from the terrace is spectacular and the accommodation in the rest of the apartment is comfortable and functional. Cuenca is a very walkable city and from our location we could be downtown in one direction in 15-20 minutes or at the large mall in the other direction in the same amount of time. Grocery store was nearby and there were plenty of restaurants in the area. Belen, the apartment manager, was always available and very helpful. I can't recommend this place more highly!

Stunning Terrace is Absolutely Right, But All Else is Great Too
We stayed at this apartment for three weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas and loved everything about it. The terrace is right off both bedrooms and looks over the city of Cuenca and the surrounding mountains. I think we had coffee on the terrace every morning and we used it constantly for relaxation, cocktails etc. The apartment was very nice as well--very well furnished, great kitchen and very comfortable. The modern apartment building was in a nice area of Cuenca within walking distance of the historic center (although with the price of taxis we were generally lazy and took a cab). The elevator worked very well but you do have to walk up stairs from the 5th to the 6th floor. The manager and owner were very responsive and made every thing easy for us, plus they had a detailed list of everything you might want to do in Cuenca and a map to show you where. Outstanding experience overall.

Great view from the terrace, however, there are some problems with the apt
There is a wonderful view of Centro and mountains surrounding Cuenca from the terrace. However, there are some practical problems with the apartment. One was that the terrace grill was so filthy that it could not be used. Also, we did not want to spend the time it would take to clean it. (It should have been cleaned after previous renters' use.) So, we could not enjoy the grill. (Aside from the grill, the rest of the apt was very clean.) Also re food prep/cooking, the water pressure in the kitchen was so low, and the hot water so tepid, it was difficult to really wash dishes. Water pressure and temperature were fine in the bathroom. So, we do not know why the kitchen was such a problem. For those who like to read in bed, bring a headlamp. The apt's ceiling lighting fixtures were made for two bulbs, but one has been removed from all of them, presumably to save electricity. This makes the bedrooms' lighting unsuitable for reading. Also, in the bedroom with the largest bed, there are no end tables and no other light source except for the one-bulb ceiling fixture. Finally, the entrance to the apt is on the 5th floor but there is a flight of stairs from the entrance to the apt itself which is on the 6th floor. This fact is not mentioned in the VRBO description but should be. Aside from these issues, we enjoyed our stay here. The bakery/tienda on the ground floor was handy. Also, I had a serious computer problem, so the ground floor computer service shop was great. Pizza place within a block was the best we had in Cuenca; and the nearby Uruguayan restaurant specializing in grilled meats was terrific and very reasonably priced. Anywhere we wanted to go in Centro was within a $2 cab ride.

Debo felicitar a los esposos Osorio por tener un departamento tan bonito/acojedor/moderno/seguro y con una vista expectacular de la ciudad de Cuenca, mi estadia fue maravillosa y me senti como estar en mi propia casa, fue una muy buena elecion el haber llegado ahi. Esta bien localizado con una cafeteria en el mismo edificio , restaurantes a su alrededor. No tuve el gusto de conocer a los señores pero si conoci a Belen que fue muy amable y atenta a todas mis preguntas.

Out stay was absolutely wonderful. As a family of four, it had all the accommodations necessary. It is also a very secure building. Below are many shops that can facilitate your stay. We had a bakery, a small convenience store and a workout gym. Overall, a five star stay.

Incredible Value and Beautiful Condo
This condo with a full balcony overlooking the city of Cuenca was a true find! It is located just about a half a mile outside of the old colonial city which made walking to town very easy and fun. The condo has all the amenities that a western traveler would expect and is beautifully decorated and modern. Downstairs is a lovely little bakery where you can get fresh bread every day as well as a coffee and dessert shop and a very "high end" deli with fresh meat and imported wines. If you want to be close to everything without being in the middle of the colonial city congestion - this is the place for you. No car needed - you can get just about everywhere within less than a miles walk or take a taxi for about $2.

Fantastic Stay- would 100% stay again
We really enjoyed are stay in this apartment. The place was clean, the shower was hot and powerful, and the direct TV and DVD player with provided movies gave us some night time entertainment. The view from a very large balcony consisted of looking at the cathedral domes as well as the old town area and mountains. The apartment was stocked well with dishes , glasses and cooking utensils. The washer and dryer was also nice as it allowed us to pack lightly for the trip. The building also has a security guard and you had to be buzzed in and out of the building. The restaurant next door also had guards on duty but the neighborhood seemed safe even without them. The location was also perfect. The first floor of the building had a small store and desert restaurant. Across the street was a few more stores and an internet café which came in great to print boarding passes. There is a deli on the corner that served fantastic sandwiches as well as an Italian restaurant ½ block away that had good food. There was also 2 or 3 pharmacies close by and the nearest major grocery was about 8 to 10 blocks away. That area also had many restaurants and the Millennial Mall. The owners provide a booklet of other nearby restaurants, sites and things to do. They also provide a cell phone with a few minutes that you can make calls on. We never met the owners but we worked with Bellin who was simply wonderful. Our morning flight home was cancelled and we were rescheduled for the evening. We were allowed to stay at the apartment until 5 pm when we had to go to the airport. It was about a 20 minute walk to the beginning of the downtown area. The sidewalks were wide and in great shape so it was an easy walk. There was also a bus stop nearby that had many different routes that you could catch. There was also a major hospital and emergency room within two blocks. The other direction was a Mercado and the Mall Del Rio. The mall was a bit of a walk but a cab could not cost more than $2.00 to get you there.
