'We could not have been happier with this location. The view from the house is spectacular. You can sit for hours watching over the water and mountains. The house is very cute and had everything we needed. Enjoyed the common fire pit on a rainy night. Doug is very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. We most certainly would return.'

'Stunning location for a relaxing holiday. Spent a week here with 2 children (ages 6 and 2) and had a great time. Safe outdoor space for the children to play in and they loved feeding the owner's chickens nearby. 5 minute walk to a pebbled beach which was ideal for tiring them out in the evening. Lots to do locally and further afield in Oban. The cabin is clean, with everything you would need for a weeks stay.'

'Voor ons gezin was dit een prima locatie om een heerlijke week door te brengen. Cameron van Portnellan was erg behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Prachtige watervallen in de buurt en heerlijke wandelingen kunnen maken.'

'We had a great time in this lovely Cottage. We loved to watch birds and squirrels on our balcony. We enjoyed playing with the owner´s dog Ralph and canoeing on the loch. Portnellan is a great starting Point to reach almost every destination in the Highlands. Our tip for families ist to do the GoApe treetop challenge in Aberfoyle. Enjoy your stay, we did it.'

'Lovely property for a family , with all home comforts. Great location as most towns are an hour drive away at most . We went in Feb so lots of snow, which the kids loved, however if you went in the summer there’s kayaking and fishing on the estate . Also a massive patio area with beautiful loch views'

'Rooms were clean and comfortable, hot tub was great. Lack of resources to contact or text the property manager when we couldn’t get the front door to lock the first night or when the WiFi went down for nearly a day. No instructions on how to operate foreign appliances! The washer/dryer in the unit never got hot enough to dry my clothing so I ended up using the towel warmer. It took me over 9 hours to get two very small loads of laundry done.'

'It was comfortable and clean. Big space for a large party. Beds were good with fresh white bedding. Large rooms. Lovely old original features. Breath taking views. Quiet places to walk. Plenty to do in the area. I would recommend. Some updating perhaps on bathrooms. But still doable. We will visit again '

'We hebben een fantastische week gehad in het huisje en omgeving. Mooie omgeving, de natuur, de rust, maar ook het gebied om het plaatsje Killin heen. Genoeg activiteiten. Het huisje was perfect, open haard, vers water uit de bergen. Alles was aanwezig in het huisje, en.als er iets niet was, hadden snel en goed contact met de eigenaars Goed voor elkaar! Vr groet fam Eisses Als we in de buurt zijn gaan we zeker weer boeken, of reclameren voor vrienden / familie'
