'Heerlijk hotel, groot en enig in zijn soort'

'De ligging is zeer goed, vlak in het centrum van Anstruther. De kamer zelf was ruim & proper. Maar de muren, plafonds en ramen waren enorm dun! De mensen boven ons maakten enorm veel lawaai ‘s nachts, we konden elke voetstap horen. Daarnaast waren er mensen tegen de deur van de inkom aan het slaan, wat weergalmde in de gang. Laat ons zeggen dat we geen goede nachtrust gehad hebben. Het ontbijt was wel dik in orde!'

'Lovely bar. Great wine. No draught lager. Staff at breakfast very helpful and warm. Cooked breakast was average. No tattie scone or beans, . Black pudding was bland. My Poached eggs were almost hard boiled, partner's fine.Granola yummy. Eggs benedict today very good. Next time will go BB. Parking at hotel difficult but parked free at big car park next to aquarium. Nice room.Sky Sports..Lovely toiletries L'Occitane. Will return!'

'I was in the UK for a week and stayed at 4 different hotels. This was one was my least favourite. The individual who checked me in did not make me feel welcome. The bathroom smelled like mildew (it was the shower curtain - gross) and the bed had hairs and a stain on the mattress cover. Also they have slow free wifi and make you pay for faster wifi. The location was good - across from supermarkets and a short walk into town. It was fine for one night but I'd rather not stay there again. '
