'We keep returning and the property has gotten better since the pandemic. a little disappointed that they now charge for unsecured parking. I like the large rooms for the price but not all rooms in the categories are consistent. We were kindly upgraded after being placed in a room that wasn't consistent with our other stays. Small and not updated. We were very quickly and efficiently made happy which I appreciated. We will return.'

'Welcoming staff and nice location. But the property is very old and the rooms have a very upcycled, refurbished vibe. For a pricey hotel, I would have expected a bit nicer. Location is pretty, cool boardwalk with shops. But the noise from traffic, boats, and trains begins around 6 am and is impossible to sleep through. Valet only parking is also kind of cumbersome. Overall a decent stay. '

'Was under construction, which meant the restaurant hours were effected by this and also in room dining. Not a luxury experience at all having to pay a resort fee seemed totally unnecessary I’d say considering. Won’t be giving this property another try which is a same as it’s a very historic Portland location but under new ownership and has lost all of its magic. '

'The hotel is clean and modern. The room is perfect except foe the noisy fridge. However the service is not as expected. Paid for breakfast and at 830 the first day they were already cleaning up and the assortment was limited. Second dat there was not even breakfast. I am still waiting for the promised breakfast. '

'The Zagz hotel had a lot of great amenities, game room, puzzle table’ free arcade machine. There’s a restaurant on site. The drinks are decent however the food not so much. The continental breakfast is lacking to say the least, there was coffee, hot water, but no tea. The host was generous enough to go find me some teabags in the rooms. There was no fresh juice. They had cereal, granola, prepackaged yogurt, bagels, muffins, and boiled eggs. They offer a s’mores hour from 7pm to 8pm, which is...

'Staff was great and super friendly. My complaints are that the room was not super clean. The bathroom sink was filthy, and you could see water stains on the shower from previous use. A lot of the walls had noticeable paint chips and the bed frames were extremely worn out and pealing. Also, although the elevator says you cannot use it without a keycard 99% of the time you could go in and press a button without scanning the card and it would work. From a safety standpoint I wasn’t a fan of that....

'Room 1619 was clean; however, there was a noticeable urine odor that comes and goes. Additionally, there was a drainage issue in the bathroom—the shower did not drain properly, causing water to accumulate during use.'

'A fantastic, centrally located spot for anyone visiting Portland. This was my fifth stay since 2018, and it remains my go-to for convenience and value. Highly recommended if you want to see the city without breaking the bank.'

'Het grote bord van motel6 is het mooiste wat dit hotel biedt. Het is een oud krakkemikkerig gebouw. Maar 1 stoel op de kamer en die was ook nog helemaal scheef dus zitten op dat ding was een probleem. Matras van het bed zeer slecht'

'Amazing property right on Division. We were in town to see a show at the Tomorrow Theatre across the street so location was 10/10. Easy access to the house/room and the continental breakfast spread was impressive. Would and will book again the next time we stay the night in Portland.'
