Drosia Beach Almyros Corfu

Drosia beach house is located in Almyros on the north Coast of Corfu Island, 45 km for the capital of Corfu. The house is 67sq.m and sleeps four people. Entering the house there is an open plan fully equipped kitchen with dining area and a large living area with fireplace. Drosia beach house has two bedrooms. One with double bed, another with two single beds and they both share a bathroom with shower enclosure. The house is air-conditioned in the living room and in the master bedroom, has free WIFI, large free parking area in the fenced plot, washing machine, microwave, two flat screens TV and many amenities that will make your stay comfortable and feel at home.
Guests can relax in the dining area outside in the large veranda of the home admiring the greenery of the neighborhood and the hills of north Corfu. 30 meter far from Drosia extents the beautiful sandy beach of Almyros. Drosia beach house is 1,5km from supermarket, 30m from George tavern and 2km from Acharavi village which is like a small town with all necessities, bank, post, cafes, restaurants, and car rentals.
Almyros is actually one of the longest beaches in Corfu Island as it stretches for 7 kilometers and it is the natural extension of Acharavi beach. This means that you can actually walk all the way from Almyros to Acharavi beach and enjoy the diversity of beach life. Almyros beach maintains, by contrast, a low profile and offers moments of blissful tranquility without lacking basic tourist services, such as sunbeds and umbrellas. Its golden sand and its calm and shallow waters are the perfect environment for families with small children that guaranty carefree swimming and fun on the beach. Moreover, close to the beach there are a few taverns where you can enjoy a cool beer or sample seafood delicacies and other local specialties.
Closed to the holiday hire visitors can go on a walk around Antinioti Lagoon. The Lagoon is located between the beaches of Almyros and Agios Spyridon. Antinioti lagoon is a protected area categorized on the European Nature Information System (EUNIS) under Natura 2000.
The rich wetlands of Lake Antinioti with diverse aquatic ecosystem, home to rare plants and provides shelter to many species of birds between these and the otter. In the lagoon operated farm and fish caught by traditional methods is mainly eels, mullet and bass.
