'We loved the location as Coniston is not so touristy and still very scenic.We loved the size, layout, quality of furnishing and white goods in the flat. There is everything needed for self catering but very good pubs and coffee shops close by. Highly recommend High Wythow'

'Quaysiders resort is an apartment/hotel right by the upper side of Lake Windermere in Ambleside. It is in an absolutely perfect location close to the lake, shops, restaurants. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment with a kitchen that had all kitchen amenities. Our Apartment was very clean and spacious . There is an indoor pool that was warm and it can also be like a Jacuzzi. 'The property is within a stone's throw from everything in Bowness, but that's about it. The flat itself is spacious, but it is meh. It lacks some touches, and most amenities need refurbishing/replacing. Only one vertical fan was available, and the small fans in each room is a heater/fan combo that does not provide cooling especially in the heat.
