'Staff was very helpful and courteous. The night clerk even brought me a pot of hot tea! Amazing service. However there was an issue in the morning, as the maid knocked on my door 3 times starting probably at 9, for some unknown reason when I was just trying to sleep... My check out time was 12, and I checked in late... I do not know what was wrong with her, I even asked the staff on her, 4 star hotel, and something this ridiculous happens ..'

'We were visiting family in Bristol for the holidays and used Founders Brook as our home base for five nights. The property is close to Portsmouth’s downtown area and a hop over the bridge to Bristol. We had some of the best sleep we’ve had in years and felt very at home. We were greeted at the front desk and I want to say her name is Nancy and I’m sorry if I got that wrong , but she was lovely and took my daughter and I on a tour of this historic inn.
