Marinetti Suite 9 is a spacious one-bedroom apartment located just outside the city walls, in the vibrant Viale Lecco. This bright and modern space offers a welcoming atmosphere for a comfortable stay in the lively city of Como.

Marinetti Suite 9 features a large living area with a fully equipped open kitchen, complete with all the appliances and utensils needed to prepare your favorite dishes. The suite includes a TV and free Wi-Fi. The bathroom is equipped with a shower.The apartment comfortably accommodates up to 2 guests, with a spacious double bedroom.

EXTRAS

Marinetti Suite 9 does not have private parking. Pets are not allowed. Baby beds are available upon request for an additional fee. Extra cleaning services and linen changes are also available on request at an additional cost.

GETTING AROUND

ASF bus services operate within Como and nearby towns; tickets can be purchased onboard (cash only) or at authorized points (the bus station in Piazza Matteotti in Como, bars, and tobacconists). Taxi services are also available.

From the pier, ferries connect to Cernobbio, Torno, Bellagio, Varenna, Colico, and other lakeside destinations. Please note that during the high season, long queues may form at the ticket office before boarding. Tickets can also be purchased online on the \"Navigazione Laghi\" website.

From Como San Giovanni train station, you can regularly reach Milan Central Station and Switzerland (Lugano, Bellinzona, Locarno), while Como Nord Lago station connects to Milan Cadorna railway station.

The nearest airports are Milan Malpensa, Milan Linate, and Orio al Serio in Bergamo. Shuttle services to and from the airports can be easily arranged at an additional cost. For further questions about transport and transfers, feel free to contact us; we’ll be happy to assist!

TIPS

Dedicate a day to visiting the charming towns around the lake. Como city is the urban hub of the area, but the small towns are gems with beautiful lakeside villas.

Wear comfortable shoes when moving around and exploring Lake Como, especially in the smaller towns.

There are many public drinking fountains in the area, and the water is safe to drink unless otherwise indicated. Tap water is also potable. Bring your reusable water bottle!

If you\'re looking for a relatively easy hike with mountain views, the Greenway del Lago di Como is a straightforward trail connecting lakeside towns from Colonno to Griante, requiring minimal climbing. A bus can take you to the starting point in Colonno.

Look for traditional restaurants to try local dishes, such as those featuring fish from Lake Como.

In Italy, many shops (especially small ones) and services close in the middle of the day, so plan your shopping accordingly.

Lake Como is one of Europe’s deepest lakes and the deepest in Italy. Swimming and diving are prohibited in many areas and can be dangerous. However, for those who wish to dive into the water, there are some options. In Como, there is an outdoor pool near Villa Olmo, but swimming in the lake is strongly discouraged and mostly forbidden. Beaches are available in other lakeside towns. A lovely beach can be found in Careno, though it might be crowded on weekends. Locals and visitors also enjoy visiting Nesso, where daring swimmers can dive into the lake from the ancient Roman bridge near the waterfall.

The Lido of Bellagio and the pebble beach in San Giovanni are great spots for those wanting to explore the beautiful town of Bellagio, located at the intersection of the two branches of the lake.

Lake Como is in a mountainous region. While the surrounding Pre-Alps don’t appear very high, the climate is still influenced by the nearby mountains, and temperatures can change quickly. Pay attention to weather conditions during hikes and bring warm, waterproof clothing!
