Spacious 6 Bdr Family Home near Park & Recreation Center

Enjoy this spacious, ranch style, 6 bedroom home in a quiet neighborhood, located northeast of downtown Colorado Springs. The home has new hardwood floors in kitchen and living room, new granite counter top in kitchen, and updated furniture throughout. The first floor has 3 bedrooms, including master suite, full guest bath, large living room, dining room, and eat-in kitchen. The lower level has 2 private bedrooms, a semi-private bedroom, bathroom, lounge and play area, laundry facilities and a sleeper couch. There is a private backyard with patio, fire pit, gas grill and a two car attached garage. High speed Wifi (150 mbs) & Cable TV provided in living room, master bedroom, and lower level. NO PETS, NO SMOKING.

Located just 3/4 mile from Cottonwood Creek Park and Recreation Center. The park is a 77 acre award winning community park providing picnic tables, slides and swings playground, snow sledding, four soccer fields, three softball/baseball fields, tennis courts, in-line hockey court, disc golf course, and walking/running paths. The recreation center is a YMCA facility with an indoor pool and fitness center, and is available to the public on a pay-per-day basis.

Perfect for Air Force Academy graduation and events, it is just 12 minutes from the South Gate entrance off I-25.

The home is centrally located so that going north, south, or west you are only 20-30 minutes away from so much that Colorado Springs has to offer: Garden of the Gods Park, Old Colorado City, Flying W Ranch, Rockledge Ranch, Air Force Academy, 4 additional bases incl. Peterson Air Force Base, The Broadmoor Hotel, Seven Falls, Manitou Springs, Fort Carson, Pikes Peak and Cog Railway, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo.
Grocers, shopping, and restaurants are only a few minutes away. 10 minutes to UCCS.
30 minutes to Colorado Springs Airport, 90 minutes to Denver International.

Spacious and comfortable.
This was a great landing spot in between activities the 2 days we stayed in Colorado Springs before a backpacking trek. As a group of 9, it had plenty of sleeping areas/beds, ample shower facilities and a kitchen more than capable of feeding the crowd. The in-and-out process was easy and really left us with no issues other than taking it slow at the base of the steep driveway off the street. Though we had a busy schedule and were out of the house a lot, it was a great environment to come back to at the end of the day and unwind.

Great family trip
We had a wonderful time in Colorado Springs and this home was perfect for our family. There was plenty of room for 6 adults and our 5 littles who were 8 under. We cooked all our meals and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the firepit and made s’mores every night. We would definitely stay here again.

The host was excellent. I received a call the day prior and received the code just as I was told. The house was in great shape and there were excellent instructions on the tvs and internet and what to do upon checkout. This was one of the best places I have stayed. I will stay there again if we come to the Springs. I give this host a 5 Star Plus. Great experience.

Excellent! Work Retreat
Wonderful stay, beginning to end! This is where my coworkers and I stayed as our work hosted out of state employees for a team retreat. The property feels inviting and comfortable as soon as you walk in. It was the perfect home away from home. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in COS, especially if you need plenty of space for many guests! Quiet neighborhood with easy access to main roads and dinning.

Great stay for families!
Overall great stay. Really nice home, well equipped, but not so fancy you feel like you are walking on egg shells worrying about the kids. Location is awesome, nice and quiet neighborhood with close access to conveniences. Only items of note, beds and mattresses: King Bed mattress downstairs is old. Its nice and soft, but feels like you are sleeping in a rut, as its showing its age/use. The description on VRBO also showed 2 twin beds being on property upstairs. This is not the case, they don't exist. Luckily we had a couple family members cancel so it was not a problem. Owner was unaware that was how VRBO listed available beds and said they would fix it. The pull-out sofa bed in the downstairs is not suitable for teens or adults. Small kids are ok, but we ended up pulling the mattress off and putting it on the floor, putting a blanket as a liner between the mattress and bottom sheet to make it slightly more comfortable for our 7 year old. Thanks for helping us get out family together for the holidays!

Thanksgiving weekend with the family
We had a wonderful stay here for the Thanksgiving weekend. My daughter lives in Colorado Springs and this house was a great place for us to all be able to stay together. Sibling Reunion 2023
My 4 siblings, their spouses and I gathered here for a reunion. The house was large enough to accommodate 7 of us very comfortably. The owner was very easy and pleasant to work with. The location was near grocery stores and shopping, which made it super easy to gather everything we needed. If you’re looking for a nice place to stay, close to shopping take a look at this house.

Quite accommodating
Everyone enjoyed the location and house. It was very clean and well kept up. The couch was difficult to sit in and stand up from and not having another seating option except for the dining stools made it much more difficult for our group, who were all past 70. One guest who has some physical disabilities mentioned that a safety bar support on the tub/shower wall would have been very nice to have, but 9ther than that it was a very good choice.
