'Great place to stay'

'I could not have been more pleased with my stay! I have already booked 2 more stays at this lovely hotel. The staff was phenomenal. Friendly, helpful, and kind. I was in Houston for care at MD Anderson Cancer Hospital and the staff made every effort to keep me comfortable and make every second perfect for me. The food is spectacular and the pool is wonderful. I cannot wait to go back!!'

'They overall stay was great the staff was very helpful and the place was clean. My only complaint would be travel to the parking deck it’s kind of aggravating. I stayed in room 521 and the shower head was a bit messed up but still worked just happens to leak a bit at the top. Loved staying at the double tree overall and had an amazing time on my Houston visit. Hope to come back and would definitely recommend to others and book again if needed.'

'The elevator was out the entire time I was there. They were fully booked the first night I was there and my bathroom smelled light a dead rotting rat. I got moved the next day. I have stayed here twice before for a conference but I won’t next year.'

'I specifically requested a downstairs room because I’m a disabled veteran and they told me no problem. However, when I checked in they told me that there were no downstairs rooms available (no elevator either). I struggled up the uneven stairs with my overnight bags and opened the room… it smelled musty and was hot because the AC was off. I dropped my bag turned the AC on and went back to the hospital where my son was in surgery. Got back around 11 pm and the room was still stifling! I...

'Each room is perfectly curated with all amenities to make the stay comfortable, even including a Roku, welcome scones, and white noise machine. The ambience is perfect due to the kind hotel staff and picturesque decor. A true oasis in the middle of bustling Houston!'

'Joseph was the star of the place! He made the most delicious breakfast! The place is lovely, it just needs some deep cleaning. The carpet in our room was old and the outside of the bath tub was quite dirty. The light switches in the bedroom and bathroom need some cleaning. Over all it was a pleasant stay.'

'Get ready to gain some pounds with a calorie high and nutrient low breakfast. The highway side rooms are a nightmare as the sound isolation is low and the noise is day and night. The rooms themselves are clean and look ok. Rooms on the other side of the building are good as of the noise. '

'NICE HOTEL IN THE NICE ARE, CLOSE TO THE PARKS AND THE TRAIN TO MOVE ARROUND. ALL MUSEUM ARE REALLY CLOSE.'

'The room was very clean somewhat there was hai inside the bathtub so I wasn’t able to use it. Air conditioner didn’t get cold it took 1 hour before we feel the coldness. It was hard to find the parking we found the easiest parking valet when we were about to leave. But overall it was very neat and close to everything. I will stay longer so I can actually enjoy the amenities and we didn’t have a chance to check out the bar and the breakfast.'
