Negatief: Netheid, voorzieningen en staat van de accommodatie en faciliteiten
This was a pre-cruise stay, and it was hands down one of the most disgusting hotel experiences of my life. We took our shoes off for only a few minutes and the bottoms of our feet and our socks were completely black from the filth on the floor. That alone tells you this room was never properly cleaned. To make it even worse, there was pubic hair stuck to the shower walls. This room was not just dirty—it was unsanitary and revolting.
When I reported this to management, I was told there was “nothing they could do” because the booking was made through Expedia. That excuse is unacceptable. While I was standing at the front desk, two other guests were complaining about the exact same thing, which proves this is a known, ongoing issue that management clearly does not care to fix.
This place should not be allowed to rent rooms in this condition. It is absolutely disgusting that Expedia continues to sell rooms at this property. This experience was so foul that it has shaken my confidence in hotel cleanliness altogether and even affected how I felt going into our cruise. I am still disgusted thinking about it. Avoid this place at all costs. I will seek a full refund including all taxes.
