This is a beautiful home with a remarkable view. It had everything one would need to make a lovely dinner, to relax and be cozy. Very peaceful place. It was perfect for our family of older kids. We would definitely return!

An Absolute Gem

Our stay at this house was nothing short of perfect. The host communicated with us directly well in advance, clearly invested in making our stay enjoyable. The house itself is beautiful and fully equipped with anything you could need, which made preparing meals a breeze. The outdoor space was a true bonus - perfect for relaxing and making smores under the stars without having to go to the beach.Very nice beaches minutes away. Location couldn’t have been better, providing easy access to Pacific City restaurants.We would highly recommend this property to adults and families alike.

Fabulous Place for a Group Getaway

For almost 20 years, our group of 5-7 ladies take a long weekend away. This is the first place we have ever chosen to visit twice. The home is perfect for our needs as we have one person who uses a wheelchair. It is also in a beautiful location with a great layout and fabulous kitchen.

Family get away

We enjoyed our stay very much. We have four children ages 18-24 and they are either in their first jobs, college or overseas for the season. It was so good to sit at the table and have good meaningful visits, cook together, build a sandcastle together (yes!) puzzle, read or hike together. A special season in our family. The place was clean, much nicer, and luxurious than we live in, so it was a real treat! We all enjoyed the window seat. We enjoyed sitting outside under the covered deck during the thunderstorm. I would have loved to have a deck on the other side of the house with a patio door going out from the dining area but can see that might not be everyone’s thing. The kids played volleyball, and even took their paddle board on the water when the tide was high! For us personally the king beds were too soft but that is just our personal preference. I would highly recommend your home to anyone! We went away with great memories. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Great Oasis

The stay was great and the communication with the property contact was excellent. I would only say that I missed in the description that the property is not bike-friendly as the road is very busy and that folks with boats really need to pay attention to the tides, but that's it. The place is so lovely, you won't want to leave.

Incredible coastal paradise

My wife and I decided to rent this house to celebrate my birthday after doing a ton of research for houses along the Oregon coast. We were looking for something luxurious and private, on the water (ocean or lake - here we technically got both!), with amazing views and access to trails and wildlife. This place nailed every requirement we had and more! Inside the home, everything was pristine and very tastefully decorated. All of the furniture was super comfortable. The rooms were quiet and cozy with elegant bathrooms. The dining / living area and its views of Sand Lake / Sitka Sedge were so gorgeous. The kitchen was clean, beautiful and very well stocked. Outside the home, the lot was well taken care of and was a delight to explore. Birds ate constantly from the feeders outside of the windows facing the lake, producing non-stop calming tones throughout the day. The bald eagles that nest in a close-by tree frequently left to hunt and watching them do so never got old. We saw countless species of birds on the lake and even occasionally spotted an otter. As someone who does wildlife photography, this place was a gold mine and provided endless photo opportunities. The host's communication was quick and they even had their handyman bring us with an item that was missing from the home within 15 minutes of mentioning it. By far the best service experience I've had while renting a home. We plan to come back again!

Outstanding accessible home

This home has an amazing view and the best stocked kitchen we’ve had in 15 years of house rentals. Stayed for a long weekend, 6 ladies in our 50s and all agreed we will go back next year. The house is truly wheelchair accessible which was what originally drew us to it, but I’d return even if that wasn’t a requirement. The layout of the house worked well for a large group. The view of the water is amazing. Plenty of parking and outdoor areas suitable for yard games. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need- from air fryer to popcorn maker. I highly recommend this property!

The house is beautiful with a rolling green lawn down to the waters edge. We had snores around the fire pit and lazy afternoons if reading in the hammock. The kitchen and barbecue are set up perfectly. The adult suites were airy and lovely and the children loved their room. Everything is so thoughtfully designed!

Family Vacation

We loved the property. It was beautiful and was very well done. It has everything you need. The wild life is amazing and we saw the mom and pop eagles and there eaglets. Spectacular house on the Oregon coast!

This house is nothing short of spectacular! My family and I stayed for a week, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The house looks exactly like it does in the pictures - even better! It’s exceptionally clean, has amazing amenities like the sauna, outdoor fire pit, hammock, and tether ball. There are also tons of games (both indoor and outdoor), a fully stocked kitchen, and one of the most incredible views from almost every room in the house! There are also some fun hikes (kid appropriate!) within walking distance of the house. Pacific city is only a 5 minute drive away and has some of the best local seafood. We also had fun visiting the Tillamook cheese factory for both ice cream and cheese tasting (25 minute drive). Kathleen was such a great host and was super responsive. If you are looking to explore the Oregon coast, this is the place to do it from. It’s truly a magical place - we hope to be back soon!

We Loved It

One of the best rentals we have ever stayed at. Very bright and cheery interior. We loved the bird feeders and all they attracted. Everything is well labeled an easy to find. Great location for exploring the coast. Sitka Sedge being right next door was great and we enjoyed hiking there.

Our Favorite Place

Thank you for another wonderful stay at what is now our favorite place on the coast. Waking up to elk roaming the grounds, then taking a nice peaceful walk to the beach along the Sitka Sedge trail. Even though the weather wasn't great, we still had a wonderful time gazing out the windows at the amazing view. Now we know this is a great place to stay for all seasons, rain or shine!

House on an estuary

This tastefully decorated, recently built house has a very pretty view of the Sitka Sedge estuary. It is a one story house with an open concept that includes. a living room, kitchen, and dinning area. There are two very spacious main bedrooms (nice linens & towels) located at either end of the house, with plenty of closet space. A problem occurred during dinner time when the oven wouldn’t work. The owner was responsive. He promptly tried to debug the problem, but he needs a service technician who fixes Thermador ovens. I had to cancel the lasagna I was about to put together for dinner. The rest of the week we used the gas cook top or the outdoor grill. There is also some noise that travels across the estuary from the sand lake recreation area where they allow ORVs to race around on the beach. They are mostly active on Friday and Saturday nights,

Great weekend getaway!

What a beautiful spot near Pacific City! The house left no attention to detail missed. It was well stocked, clean and we loved the fire pit and volleyball net outside. It’s a great spot for families or couples. The only thing the owners might want to consider is a landline in case of an emergency since there isn’t phone service. Otherwise it’s a drive into town to call someone. We will definitely be back as we loved this property.

Our new favorite beach getaway!

This was our second stay at this amazing property and it did not disappoint. The cleanliness and beautiful design of the house as well as the view and location makes this our new favorite getaway. We love the large yard and all the outdoor activities provided. Less than a mile walk to the beach or a short drive in to Pacific City. We will definitely make this a recurring place to visit.

Amazing Stay!

We had the best time at this house, the house was impeccably clean, there were many architectural features that showed the owners had really thought through the design, which we appreciated. Labeling throughout the house helped us find things easily. We brought stand-up paddleboards and kayaks and were able to go out each night when the tide came in. We hope to come back in the future!

Beautiful home with an amazing view

Everything about this home and property was perfect. We came here to spend July 4th weekend. It was just a short drive to Pacific Beach which is where we went to watch fireworks. We really enjoyed everything from the gorgeous home and view to the firepit in the back. We can’t wait to come back!

Amazing beach vacation

We loved staying at this house. It is one of the best vrbo we have ever stayed. Views in the morning are amazing. Very close to pacific city. Kitchen is very well equipped. Tons of stuff for the kids to play with. Would highly recommend and would love to come again.
