It states that your room had a DND sign on when the housekeeper left around 3:16pm hence the reason why you did not receive service. Our housekeepers work hard to take care of everyone and would have been happy to service the room if not for the DND sign on it. I hope you will give us another opportunity to see our housekeeping staff at work in the future for a multi night stay.

The renovations are necessary in order to bring this hotel to a upgrade it and modernize it. We are renovating our property to make is brand new again. This does take time and can make a dusty environment. We are not covering mold up with a rug in a room, the spot that you are referring to is actually a burn mark from an iron. Once that room is renovated everything down to the light switches will be brand new. The tubing that you are referring to is a part of the renovation, we are adding fiber optic wiring to all the rooms for an upgraded internet service. We do apologize that you were not pleased with the condition of the property and hope that you would give us another chance once we are finished with our renovations.

If you had looked at your booking, it clearly states that this property is under renovation and that some of the amenities are not available. We chose to close down our lobby area at this time, since it is the most convenient time when we are not as busy with travellers even though the holidays are here. Sorry that you feel this way. We also have employees to keep employed and they have families that they need to feed. And in the current market all of our vendors are struggling to find help as well.
