Ephemeral - Relaxing Retreat

Privacy and relaxation in a fully private farmhouse, where you can enjoy views ranging from sunrise over the sea on the horizon to sunset, which bathes the magnificent mountains and the characteristic badlands in light, all while being completely immersed in the natural beauty of the Abruzzo countryside.
The villa is a romantic and picturesque 1920s-era home with exposed brick and climbing roses winding up its facade. It retains all the style and charm typical of a country residence, enhanced by a varied garden of tall trees, an orchard (figs, apricots, quinces, cherries, pears, pomegranates, loquats, etc.), pergolas with grapevines and kiwi vines, and a beautiful lawn filled with the scent of aromatic herbs. A green oasis designed to offer our guests an experience of total relaxation and discovery of nature, with walking paths and furnished areas crafted to provide scenic views and the chance to observe ever-changing blooms.

The upper floor of the farmhouse consists of a spacious, independent bedroom with its own entrance via the exterior staircase. Furnished with period pieces, it features a comfortable double bed, a cozy sitting area, and a private en suite bathroom. Guests can admire the splendid sunsets over the hills from the charming little outdoor terrace, or, if they prefer, while comfortably lying on the bed through the frames of a window and a French door leading to a small balcony that opens onto the valley.
On the lower level, the spacious, fully equipped kitchen is the heart of the home. It is closely connected to the outdoor dining area, accessible through the large glass door. The kitchen connects to the living room on one side and to the ground-floor sleeping area and bathroom on the other. The bright living room (which also has its own separate entrance) features a double sofa bed, a fireplace, a TV, a study area, and a staircase-bookcase stocked with guidebooks and books selected for our guests.

The ground-floor sleeping area is separated from the kitchen by a hallway with a storage closet and laundry area. The bedroom, which basks in the warm light of the sunset, offers a view of the Calanchi valley. It is furnished with a comfortable double bed, a wardrobe, an armchair, a TV, and an antique family console table with a mirror and jewelry box. The bathroom features a relaxing bathtub topped with a fig tree trunk, a spacious shelf, and a large mirror. A collection of mirrors adorns the walls to capture and reflect the sunset light that characterizes the back of the farmhouse.
Outside, at the back of the farmhouse, you can enjoy a fully equipped outdoor shower—perfect upon returning from a day at the beach and at the end of a hot summer afternoon. Here you can relax at a small table nestled among wisteria and a profusion of hydrangeas.

Finally, the spacious garden is furnished with sun loungers, deck chairs, a small seating area, and a large dining table.

We also offer our guests Wi-Fi that extends to the outdoor areas.

Its prime location surrounded by nature makes the residence perfect for birdwatchers and for enjoying the spectacle of the many fireflies that light up early summer evenings and the stars on cool August nights.

The sea is a 15-minute drive away.

We will be available to guests for any needs they may have. For extended stays, we will ask—with the guests’ consent—for access to the property to perform maintenance and care for the landscaping and vegetable garden.
